“Kalie!” Kam’s voice whispered. My eyes were blurred at first, but quickly focused in on the dark blue eyes right above me. I turned to glance at the clock. “Kam, it’s 5:00am on a Saturday, whatever this is, it better be good.” I replied. “Good to see you too, Sleeping Beauty.” Kam said with a smirk. He then proceeded to grab my hand and pull my limp body towards the edge of the bed, probably hoping that that would get me up, but to no avail. I hit the floor. Eventually he gave up and just bent down and lifted me. My room is basically the whole downstairs of my house and unlike in all the books and movies where the cute guy comes in through the window, mine just comes through the door. Which he somehow managed to open without dropping me, skilled little Mr. Perfect he is. (Do NOT tell him I said that, he’d never let me live it down.) “What are you doing?!!” I exclaim. “Calm down, Kal! You act like you don’t trust me the slightest.” He replies. That made me laugh. “Haha! When have you ever been trustworthy when it comes to dragging me mysterious places at weird times?!” I say, almost falling out of his arms, but catching myself quickly and holding onto him tighter. “Chill I’m just taking you to my house.” A block later and I couldn’t believe he was still carrying me. When we got to his door he let me down and opened it quietly. We carefully walked up the stairs until we reached his bedroom. “Okay, now what is it?” I ask, finding a comfortable place to sit on his bed.
He then pulled out two VIP passes to the Expectrum tour that was stopping here next weekend. “NO!” I gasp. “Yep!” he exclaimed. “You don’t suppose you’d like to come with me, do you?” He asked mockingly. “Um, yes!” I practically shout. My hand shot out to look at the pass more closely. “How in the world could you have gotten these? They are so expensive!” “Don’t worry about it.” He replied coolly. “Fine, don’t tell me then.” Ugh, he’s so annoying.
A half hour later, I just got home and proceeded to try and get some more sleep. As I laid down, my door opened and there entered Gwen. “Hey girl! You’re actually up early for once!” she said in a surprised tone. “Yeah, not by choice.” I reply. “Kam been here already then?” she asked knowingly. “Always.”
