HaRi had been in a hurry to get to the meeting point the manager had asked her to get to, the previous night. While dashing out to the door, or rather trying to, Yoongi had bumped into her causing her to drop the things in her hand. While this could have ended for him to a fatal result, it luckily did not, thank heavens she did not have the time to murder him.
However, something good did come out of it. Even though she hit him with the same wallet she had dropped when he bumped into her, even though he ended up with a slight bruising, even though she almost elbowed his rib once again before running to the door, he found out her birth date. Although he still wondered who carried a copy of their birth certificate, minimised and folded, in their wallet; but he wouldn't dare question her, unless he wanted to end up with a torn ligament or something.
Yoongi was never a fan of surprises. Surprises meant hiding, hiding meant anticipation which meant over thinking which meant waste of time and energy. No. Especially when he could easily use the time for sleeping or composing.
However, when he found out that HaRi had a birthday approaching, he couldn't help but come up with a plan to surprise her. Even if it meant sacrificing his sleep.
The things I do for her
That thought, however, brought another question to his mind. What was she to him?
Their equation seemed to have improved over the past month. She was more comfortable with him, she had shown him her adorable personality beneath her cold exterior. She glared a little less, attacking, however, stayed the same. But she liked having him around.
He liked talking to her, found her adorable, he understood her actions better, he knew what she would like and what she might end up pulling out her beloved forceps for. He is understood there laid a sad past within her. He liked being around her.
Did he like her?
Yes. Maybe more? He was not sure. But he loved the feeling he got when ever she was around.
Her captivating eyes leaves him in a constant trance. Her tiny self made him want to keep her locked and safe (maybe in his pocket?) Her fiesty personality excited him, he loved anticipating her reactions.
And so, Yoongi came to the conclusion that he liked HaRi.
It would be difficult now, he would have to mask his emotions, make sure he does nothing dumb because he did not want her to close him off again. He would confess, that he was sure of, but not just right away.
Yoongi was in deep thoughts when he returned to their shared hotel room that afternoon. The sight he was met with, however, made him stop in his tracks, bewildered.
"Why are crouched under the chair Jungkook?" He asked the man who had curled himself into a ball and managed to fit himself under a chair, his head alone properly visible, the unmistakable bunny smile in sight.
Seeing Yoongi, however, his smile was wiped off and he sprang to his feet, knocking off the chair he had taken "cover" under. He pointed a shaky finger at Yoongi.
"If you're here t-then whose.."
The sound of the bathroom door unlocking got Jungkook's doe eye widening. The following scene happened almost in a painful slow motion.
"Andwaeeeee" a screeching Jungkook pushed off a screeching HaRi, who had just opened the bathroom door, right in time before she missed the honey falling from the bucket he had somehow placed on top.
Jungkook was now drenched in honey, and HaRi had half of herself drenched in honey.
"What the heck?!" Screeched HaRi followed by the muttering of a few unholy words as she looked at her self, irritated because she had just finished showering and had to have one again.
Jungkook had his arms spread open, honey dripping from them and his hair, he even had the decency to look sheepish. "Sorry Noona, I forgot you were in this room, I was trying to prank hyung."
Not knowing what to say, HaRi took notice of how he was covered in the sticky liquid from head to toe, from "saving" her.
"Please take a shower, you're drenched in honey." She said stepping out of the washroom, forgetting that she herself was only clad in a towel and half drenched in honey.
And only now did she notice Yoongi standing there, still wide eyed, his gaze now on her scarcely clothed form.
"Y-Yoon?" He hummed in reply, "uh-can you get me another towel please?" Her voice was timid, suddenly remembering her state
Yoongi, still in a trance, walked to his suitcase, pulling out a towel he always carries while travelling. He walked back to her, mind still in a haze but actions more sure. Instead of handing to it her, however, he wrapped it around her shivering form himself. A gasp left HaRi's lips as he pulled her closer by the towel.
"I must say doc, you look quite adorable."
A flustered HaRi raised her brow in confusion.
"You," he caressed her honey clad cheek with a finger, " look really cute right now, blushing and covered in honey, after having fallen for that rabbit's prank. Almost too cute for me to handle." Without waiting for her reply, he pressed his lips to hers.
