At the very first crack of dawn, the ground underfoot began to mutter, the woody ridges to quake, and a baying of hounds was heard through the half-light: the goddess was coming, Hecate. A path was then opened for the Sven and Karmic to journey on through the underworld.
Then they saw tiny rings of lava, smoke curled off from its mouth.
"What now? All I want is to sleep in a whole week," her shoulders slumped.
Those red eyes locked on to karmic after her whining please, "Little maiden with the son of Apollo."
Hecate was standing beside that thing; she had green eyes, red hair and seemed to have a vampire fangs.
"Oh the goddess of the night Hecate, done with the intercourse with Aphrodite?" Sven teased.
The twinkle of a thousand torches lit the scene; and hounds of the underworld barked shrilly all around them. Garlanded by fearsome snakes.
"Oh come on, I'm just kidding, Torch-bearing." he chided.
"Sven, can you just stop that mouth of yours? Karmic muttered to him.
Hecate raised her arms, around her shadows began to swirl. Pleased with dark ghosts that wander through the shade, nightly seen.
"Symbolises the Moon and all the magic that comes from the Night. Pure, untamed magic of the Moon envelopes. As you instinctively know what to do due to your highly active intuition. Prophetic dreams. If you interpret them correctly and trust them, you can do miracles!"
I couldn't breathe. Despite that, a strange sort of calm fell over me. Someone tugged at my hand and then I saw Sven smiling at me. I tried to touch, but he's slowing to vanish.
She quickly moved from another placed. Where you could hear someone's voice, Ready or not here I come, I can find you but you can find me. It's just the two of us, you and I here in the endless darkness.
Darkness shows me what I fear the most.
'A place where no one noticed that I'm slowly breaking, not my"friends, not even my"family", no one. It all above their empty promises that they'd made.
Eyes burning on a blazing tear of fear and sorrow. Massive of doubt piling me up. The shadows were dancing around me, celebrating my defeat.
'But this is not me' she said repeatedly.
“We're just here, we will wait for you, my little angel" I know that voice, his voice was soothing sending you to sleep but you scared to close your eyes.
I'm done pretending that I'm tough, I want to feel the warmth of my parents hug.
What kind of paradise am I looking for? My mind is so fucking empty, but I heard a sound from some reason, I know that sound, the sounds of heaven.
As I'm there sitting and holding back tears, I could hear his voice softly but trembling. Son of Apollo was fighting the urge, to rescue me.
“Show me my strength if I have
Show me the right path by your torches
Light the crossroads before me that I may see my way.
Queen of transition, Guardian of doorways,
Hecate, bless my journeys through dark and dawn,
Help me to bring the forces light and dark, above and below.
As a coin cannot have only one side, I am not whole one without the other. ”
Suddenly I was flying backwards, with shadows still besides me like were having racing. Till my consciousness faded.
I awoke gasping, blinding golden light spilled out, that hurt my eyes after staying on the dark with shadows. Lights seemed to radiate from everywhere. I tried to stand up but my legs buckled, I wasn't paying attention that I didn't feel Sven behind me, whom I leaned on for my support.
Sven guided me through the tree where I saw a portal? Karmic raised her eyebrow, "come on, they're waiting."He said in a small voice.
Then they're entered at the portal that connected to the house of Juno, grandmother of Reign - her mother.
Then we stepped out inside the living room where my parents and Juno are chatting in, then I heard Juno said, "You never know when or where the war will start," she sighed.
"No welcome back party," Sven said getting their attention, clapped me on my back.
Juno sighed, "Son of Apollo, instead asking for a party why don't you aid Karmic upstairs, the poor girl needs a rest?"
"okay grandma," he answered.
As soon as their stepped through the bedroom, Karmic asks with a frowned,"Do you know about the war that they're talking about?"
But he just shook his head, "maybe just a continuation of the war that happened here with our parents" he shrugged.
"Maybe take some sleep first," he suggested.
"No," Karmic walked toward the windows, drawn by the past events that she encountered.
Sven stared out at the window, he was starting to worry about the girl. The war still not starting but the girl almost sounded frightened and tired already. 'This couldn't be good. How could we win the war? Warning bells rattled around my head, maybe our heads.' He thoughts. Karmic was still struggling with the powers from Hecate - Disoriented is not a good sign.
"Karmic, please just take some rest for a while," she didn't answer, so he continues "Everyone were preparing even myself, so please don't think about the war. Just focus how to overcome the powers within you."He hugs her tight until karmic fells asleep in his arms.
