Chai-Lee joins Team Arrow

Starling City

"Ah its good to be back. Santiago may be big but Starling City is always better. So much crime and so little time." Chai-Lee says to herself as she enters Starling City. "Oops sorry didn't mean to bump into you." Chai apologised for. She didn't look where she was going. "Ah Rory it's always a pleasure." Chai greeted Rory. "Chai-Lee your moves are so predictable." A man said behind them. "I've only been here for a couple of minutes and I already have a bounty on my head." Chai says turning around. "Rory do you have your rags? Because I know this person and there's definitely more coming." Chai asks. "Do you even have to ask once? I was already ready to fight." Rory answers. "Hey Rory! I picked up a location on our criminal and we need to know where you are. Oliver is quite annoyed that you didn't show up for practice." Felicity says through the ear piece Rory forgot to take out. "So I ran into someone and her and I are fighting off some people. Could use Wild dog or even Mr. Terrific." Rory explains. "There's more here than I can handle. Chai-Lee can fight them all off but she might go after the head." Rory adds on. "Wait. Chai-Lee is here?" Felicity asks. "Yep." Rory responds. "Okay I'll tell Oliver." Felicity says and turns off the radio signal for the ear piece. "Oliver! Rory has bumped into Chai-Lee and now they're fighting off more than they can handle. Well Rory more specifically. He said that Chai-Lee will most likely go off to hunt the head." Felicity explains to Oliver. "Okay everyone suit up. Send me the location." Oliver demands everyone. "Hey Rory are you okay?" Wild dog asks while shooting people off of him. "Yeah but I don't know about Chai-Lee." Rory responds. "Go and find her. We will deal with these people." Oliver sends Rory off to find Chai-Lee. Before he could get to her an arm came out of nowhere and Rory ran straight into it. He flipped and rolled on over to Chai-Lee. They rolled together down a grass hill. Rory landing on top of Chai-Lee. "Hey." Rory says as he pushes on his elbows to not be super close to her face. "Your cute. You know that right?" Chai rhetorically asks. "I did not but maybe we should try to fight this guy before getting into how we feel about each other. "I have to kiss you so that you don't hurt me." Chai says before taking off Rory's mask. "What do you mean hurt you? I would never." Rory stops chai from kissing him. "I have to transform into my spirit form. And because you rags are enchanted it could fatally hurt me. Only because you wouldn't be able to see me." Chai responds. Chai cups Rory on the side of his cheeks and gently placed her lips on his. After a couple seconds she breaks the kiss. "Get my body to a safe place." Chai says to Rory before leaving her body. "Holy shit what is that?!" Wild dog says from behind Rory. "Wait you can see that? Did she kiss you too?" Rory asks wild dog and the others. "Kiss? No she didn't. Why did she kiss you?" Mr Terrific asks. "Yes she did. She said that my enchanted rags could hurt her spiritual form." Rory answers. "I get it. You've got enchanted rags and we don't. Normal people can see it because we don't have anything enchanted on. Enchanted people or items that the person posses has an effect on the spiritual form. Making you not being able to see it without a seal of approval by the spirit." Mr Terrific explains. Chai starts fighting off the guy and dodges most attacks. Until she gets whipped in the stomach by someone. Her spiritual form dissolves and returns to her body. As she awakes from the ground everyone is looking around to see where her spiritual form had gone. She coughs up blood redirecting everyone's vision back to her body. "Are you okay?!" Wild dog asks concerned. "Yeah. Hold this." Chai got up and took off her coat. As she walked back onto the field, everyone saw what the coat revealed. "Holy shit. That's a lot of weapons." Wild dog cursed under his breath.

• After the fight •

"Do you think she's going to be okay?" Felicity asks pacing back and fourth. "I will be if you stop pacing." Chai answers getting up from the table; holding her head. "Are you okay?" Rory asks getting to her first. "Ah yeah." Chai responds avoiding eye contact. "Why am I in the arrow cave?" Chai asks getting up onto her feet. "You passed out and some sort of glitter burst from all around you. It basically revealed all your wounds and scars." Curtis explains. "Mirror mask. It's called mirror mask. It masks any sort of wound or scar on the human body and it can enhance your strength. But some of those scars my regeneration can't fix." Chai says walking towards her cloak. "I'm going to go and settle in to my loft and then I'm going out." Chai says before leaving. "You can't leave. You need to stay. We need you to stay so we can monitor your health and figure out why you passed out." Felicity says grabbing chai by the wrist. "You don't need to do that at all. I know why I passed out and it's nothing you need to be worried about." Chai snaps back. "Look I'll join team arrow and tomorrow I'll tell you all about my black outs and everything okay. Just right now I need some time to myself." Chai says and forces her wrist out of felicity's force. As soon as chai left the building Oliver starts speaking. "I need you three to keep and eye out on her. She may drink away her problems but new ones could arise. Make sure they don't." Wild dog, Mr Terrific and Ragman all head out and follow chai around.
