Chapter 25: Hero Names

Two days after the sports festival, Takato walks out the doorway and sees the downpour which seemed a bit too heavy for a summer morning. But as he pulls up his hoodie he hears the sound of a dog panting behind him. He turns to see his new pet: a small Shiba Inu panting happily behind him. Takato sighs and pets his dog.

Takato: "Sorry, Yamato you can't come with me boy." *The dog whimpers behind him before Takato pets his head* "But don't worry, I play with you later okay?" *Yamato barks happily his tail wagging happily before Takato walks off* "Bye Yamato." 

As he runs off to school, a stranger called out from behind, jarring Takato's out of his thoughts.

Stranger: "Hey you there, young man!" 

Takato: *turns to see the man who presumably called him. But after he turned around he saw that more and more people were looking at him* "Uh, yes?"

Stranger: "You're Takato S.Ryujin right?"

Takato: "Yes, is something wrong?"

Stranger: "Oh no no, I just want to say that was some amazing stuff, you did at the Sports Festival."

Stranger 2: "Your quirk is really amazing!"

Takato soon only managed to look around as the crowd continued to chatter. He couldn't exactly hear what everybody was saying until almost everybody said in a unison.

"We are rooting for you Hero Titan, do your best!"

Takato: 'Titan?'

The weather wouldn't be getting anytime soon. Rainwater splattered with every step Takato took on his way to the main gate of the school with his right hand clutched around the curved handle of his umbrella, mostly sheltering him from the water.

Izuku/Iida: "Good morning Takato-kun" *sprinting toward Takato with all the energy in the world. 

Iida: "Why are you walking so slowly. You're going to be late!"

Takato: "Heh good morning to you two as well." *picks up the pace then remember the report of the Pro Hero Ingenium and the recent Hero Killer attack. As he takes off his jacket and rain boot to put on his signature black shoes.* "Hey Iida.."

Iida: "It it's about my brother, there's no need to worried* "gives a reassuring smile on his face but his tone was little sharper than usual* "There's no need to worry, he'll be back in shape within a few months."

Izuku: "Well..u-um if you need to talk we are here for you?" *Iida nods before running off without another word.*

(Timeskip)

Everybody was glad to see Aizawa with his bandages removed. The student were all quick to settle down as he walked in, absent mindedly brushing his thumb over his newly obtained scar. That is, until Aizawa announced that they'd be picking hero names today. He stepped aside as Midnight dramatically waltzed into the classroom, hands behind her head and her hip swaying a bit more than necessary.

Midnight: *eager tone* "All right kiddos, today's gonna be the most important day of your hero career. So choose wisely. Because your hero names are what will represent you to the world and reflect your nature. Better choose wisely because you'll have one more chance to change them, and that's right before graduation."

Aizawa: *stoic manner* "I have to say, she's right. Your hero name is your identity as a hero, making it just as important as anything else." 

Soon after all the students were given a slate and marker for writing down their hero names.
