~Todoroki's POV~
~That Afternoon~
I walk to the car in my black turtle neck, silver skinny jeans and my black tennis shoes. Today is the day I get away from Endeavor. How? Well we move into the dorms this week, most not until tomorrow. But I wish to get away as soon as possible, despite my father thinking I should remain until Friday afternoon. We will live in these dorms for the rest of our school career. Although we can return home for holidays if we want...but I don't think I will.
Anyhow, I have my drivers license. So I am going to be driving myself and all of my boxes along with my car to the school. It is going to be a long afternoon. As I pull into the student dorm parking lot, I see no other cars.
I figured that no one was going to be here on their last days with their families. Some of my class won't even have their licenses for a few more months much less a car of their own. As I get out of my car I retrieve my phone and car keys, putting them into my pocket. Once I had situated myself I walk to where the teachers are waiting, according to a school wide email, with the room numbers and keys for students. I see Aizawa speaking with Present Mic as I walk up.
He sees me and smirks. "Ah. Todoroki, how are you?"
"I am good thank you. How are you sir?"
"I'm fine. Here is your keycard. It has your room number on it." I nod.
"These will get your family on-"
"I came alone sir."
"Ah. Ok then. Well I will have you know that you cannot switch roommates no matter who you are paired with." I nod.
"Your roommate is already here. Do you need help with boxes?"
"No sir I'm fine. Thank you though" I leave after he nods.
My roommate is already here? Well...Ok then, that was unexpected. I walk back to my car and unlock it, lifting up a box before I head to room 202. Floor 2, room 2. When I get there, I nearly drop the box I was holding trying to open the door with my keycard. But instead I drop my keycard. The door swung open right as I dropped it. The person has quick reflexes and catches it before I get a chance to see who it is. They look it over before standing back up. This is when I am met face to face with the ruby red eyed Katsuki Bakugou.
"He- Icy Hot?!"
"Bakugou. May I come in?"
"No wonder Aizawa said no switching. Yeah, I guess I have no choice but to let you in." He walks back in with my keycard while grumbling under his breath.
I walk over to the bed by the window. It was empty on this side of the room but not the other. Boxes were all over the place. I set my box down and look to Bakugou.
"Can I have my keycard back now please?"
"Huh?! Oh yeah." He hands me my keycard and I walk out.
He follows me all the way down to my car. "Why are you following me?"
"You had obviously come alone. I might not like you extras, but I'm not completely heartless. Plus, we will have to tolerate each other for the next three years. Might as well start now." My eyes widen at how civil Bakugou was being.
I nod. "Any boxes you would prefer I don't take Icy Hot?"
"No as long as you're careful I don't care." He nods and grabs a box marked clothes, pivoting and heading back up to the dorm.
I grab a box and follow behind him. We continue this process until all of my things were in our dorm on my side of the dorm. I had locked the car before coming back up to our room. We are both on the floor drinking water and taking a breather before either starting or continuing to un-pack.
"Not cold enough..." I hear Bakugou grumble as he sips at a water.
I go wash my hands and come back. I create ice in my hand and offer it to Bakugou.
"Is that sanitary?"
"I just washed my hands...so yes." He nods and offers his water to me.
I drop the ice into his drink and sit back down holding my glass with my left side to keep it cool.
"Thank you for the help, Bakugou."
"Yeah whatever. Don't get used to it halfie. This chill is only going to happen in our dorm room. You hear me?! You say nothing to anyone!" I nod and lift myself up. Despite his words I can't help but feel like even this 'calm' Bakugou isn't very calm...
I begin to unpack while Bakugou continues to unpack the box he was trying to unpack before helping me. I open my third box and begin to unpack it. Half way through this my phone rings. And without checking who it is I pick it up.
"Hello?"
"Shoto. Where are you?"
...Father "In my dormitory unpacking."
"Why are you lying!? You should know that you weren't scheduled to leave until Friday so you could finish this month's training! Do you honestly expect me to believe that you would disrespect my authority so much?!"
Yes, I do know. That's why I left. I would rather not be forcefully overworked by that damned man.
"So, tell me Shoto. Where are you?!"
"My dormitory. Unpacking my belongings."
"You have no proof of that! Tell me the truth Shoto!"
I groan. That is the truth. Damn man can't even listen. All of the sudden my phone is snatched out of my hand. I look at Bakugou like he was crazy...because he was.
"Well Shoto!? Where are-!"
"Your fucking son is in his dormitory fucking unpacking a box. I am his roommate and it would be appreciated if you shut the fuck up. I can hear your annoying ass voice from the other side of the room and Icy Hot doesn't even have you on speaker phone!"
"Huh? Who is this!?"
"None of your damn business!" After that statement he hangs up the phone with a growl.
He throws it at me, and in my shocked state I almost got hit in the face with my own cell phone.
"...Thank you again Bakugou..."
"Tch. Whatever. I just wanted him to shut the fuck up." I nod and silence my phone since my father keeps attempting to call me.
I continue to unpack until I'm finished. I look over and notice that Bakugou fell asleep in the pile of clothes he was folding. I half smile and decide to help him out. I owe him anyways. I finish putting his clothes away for him. Except for the ones he is laying on. I turn off the lights and lay down. It's been a long day and it is getting late. Tomorrow will be a long day I'm sure...
