Anna's POV: We've been driving for a couple hours with in between stops to let the puppy use the restroom it's know 9:30 and I call Katie
Katie: hey what's up Anna: hey something came up and we're not going home for about a week or so Katie: what why Anna: something happened do you want to come with us Katie: where Anna: one of my families cabins in big bear Katie: I don't want to third wheel with you guys Anna: lance and goose are coming a cars going to pick them up you can bring someone too if you'd like Katie: can I bring Conner Anna: yea sure Katie: okay Anna: a car is going to pick you up later today be ready and tell Conner to meet you at the house Katie: okay bye Anna: bye lock all the doors be safe
Evas POV: I wake up and we're still driving and Anna just got of the phone with someone "hey who were you talking to" I ask her she looks me and says "Katie is going to get picked up and brought to the cabin as well as goose, lance, and Katie's bringing Conner" she looks at me and she starts petting the puppy "Anna what's going on why can't we go home" she looks at me and says "we will when it's safe" "how long will that be" she nods and says "a week a month at most, are you hungry we can stop for food" I nod and she tells Emilio to stop at McDonald's he proceeds to take the next exit "are you mad bub" she looks at me with her sad eyes "no I'm not angry I'm just scared" I really didn't want to be scared I loved Anna but her family isn't in the best business which means Anna has a constant target on her head and if anything happens to her I don't know what I would do "you don't have to be scared I'll protect you and we have Emilio, Andre and Diego and if you want more guards that can be arranged" I look at her and smile and Emilio hands us our food and we eat.
Anna's POV: 3 hours passed and we are like 15 minutes away from the cabin Eva and the puppy had fell asleep I receive a text from Diego (another guard) it says "I picked up goose, and lance I'm on my way to pick up Katie and Conner" I responded with "okay thank you" Emilio tells me that we have arrived. I give the puppy to Emilio and Andre gets out of my car that he drove here and he takes our luggage out and takes it inside, I lightly shake Eva "hey bub we're here" she wakes up and looks outside and sees that cabin and looks wowed

Eva: woah this is your family's cabin Anna: yea this is one of them Eva: you have more Anna: of course we have them all around the world Eva: wow that's amazing HEY where's the puppy Anna: Emilio took him inside, let's go we can go back to sleep since we woke up so early Eva: but we have to take care of the puppy Anna: don't worry Emilio can handle a puppy and Diego will be here soon with all of our friends and Andre is going into town to get all the puppy essentials and toiletries for us and some groceries Eva: okay let's go to sleep than Anna: when we wake up our friends should be here Eva: okay
Evas POV: We walk into this cabin and it's huge Anna leads me on a quick tour and then we get to her room and there's a king size bed that she plops on and pays the bed next to her and I go and plop down next to her and we go under the covers and cuddle and I start to doze off and Anna kisses my forehead "I love you" she says quietly, I love you she just told me she loves me omg do I say it back I do love her but the words don't feel right coming out of my mouth I've said it to mason before and he ended up cheating on me. I'm overthinking I just need to go to sleep.
Anna's POV: I just told Eva I love her but I think she was asleep or was she awake I couldn't tell but after a few minutes her breathing softens and i know she's in a deep sleep I receive a text it was Katie she had made a group chat with all of us I grab Evas phone and I put it on silence so she can sleep
[text messages] Katie: hey i made this groupchat for all of us since we're going to Anna's cabin Goose: Katie were in the same car as you Katie: I know but for the future Lance: hey Anna we should be there in about 2 hours Anna: okay Evas asleep right now I'll wake her up before you guys get here so we can all eat dinner together Goose: Anna are you going to cook for us Anna: no I have a chef anyone have any recommendations on what to eat Katie: everything Conner: lol same Anna: alright I'll see what we can do :) Lance: I'm gonna sleep Goose: you always sleep Katie: that's true we haven't even been driving for 10 minutes and I can already hear you snoring Anna: lol let the mans sleep Conner: no ones stopping him Anna: is Diego treating you guys right Katie: yea he's super chill he already asked if we wanted to stop for food Anna: alright well I'm going to sleep until you guys get here Eva: Anna just because you silence my phone doesn't mean I can't feel the vibration or here you laughing Katie: and I oop Conner: lol Anna: opps sorry (I turn to see Eva looking at me and I kiss her)
Anna: I'm sorry did we wake you Eva: no I just heard your cute laugh Anna: your the cute one now I'm gonna go to sleep sweet dreams bub Eva: sweet dreams I love you (holy shit did I just say that) Anna: what ( I turn to her quick I wonder if she heard me say it too) Eva: I love you Anna: holy cow I love you too, wait no I don't love y- Eva: you don't love me (I say cutting her off) Anna: no I don't because I'm IN love with you (I pull her onto me and we kiss passionately) Eva: I'm so In love with you boon Anna: I'm so in love with you too bub Eva: okay now sweet dreams Anna: sweet dreams I love you Eva: love you too
