Diamonds and Tiny Black Hearts Maddies P.O.V.

Maddie: "Hey, Mari, I'm gonna take a nap"
I'm so tiered but Mars been driving for hours, wait what the hell why are we getting off?
Maddie: " what the fuck Mari why are we getting off?!"
Marina: " hold On, you'll see."
Curiosity builds up inside me until we pull into a parking lot in front of a building that reads Diamonds tattoo and piercing
Maddie: "oh."
Marina: "I've already clears this with both our parents they said we can get belly button piercings."
Maddie: "THATS WHAT THE STUFF AT HOT TOPIC WAS ABOUT!!!!"
Marina reaches into the back seat and retrieves a tiny HotTopic bag and pulls out six belly button rings, one to match each of our swim suits. I choose the one with the tiny black rhinestone spade and she picks up the black steel one with an anchor on it and we head inside.
Tattoo artist: "what can I help y'all with?"
Marina: "I called earlier about the belly button peircings?"
Tattoo artist: "oh yes, let me go get amber."
I look over and notice Marina studding a small black heart on the wall.
Maddie: "do you wanna get that? We could get it on our hands by our thumb and index finger as a best friend charm."
Marina: "okay that sounds great. I wanna get something like that too." She's pointing to tiny cursive letters on the wall.
Amber: "okay, your parents have already cleared this with me so your good to go, take a seat ladies."
Marina: " hey amber, we wanna get that tiny heart on our right hand by our index finger and thumb, and I wanna get something else too but I'll discuss that in a minute."
We go and have a seat, I'm with amber and marina is with the guy who greeted us , she sterilizes my belly button and the skin around it then gets the piercing clamp and the punch and positions the clamp and peirces my skin, it hurts like a bitch and I wimper a little which causes marina to laugh.
Amber: "do you have a stainless steel belly ring or would you like to buy one?"
I hand her the tiny steel ring and she sprays it with alcohol and puts it in place.
Maddie: " Thanks amber, now the tattoo." I offer her my right hand and she sterilizes my skin with alcohol then begins tattooing, it hurts bad. ten minutes later she's done and shows me the tattoo then puts triple antibiotic on it and a band aid and tells me to keep it covered for at least an hour. I meet up with marina at the front who is paying, her leg bandaged up on the side and a small band aid on her hand, her belly button looks just as red as mine. We walk to truck laughing about ambers lisp.
Maddie: " What'd you get on your leg?"
Marina peels back the bandages to reveal Forever Shall I Reign in perfect loopy cursive across her upper thigh almost to her hip.
Maddie: " wow Mari that's beautiful..."
Marina: "thanks Maddie take the bandaid off that tattoo, I know what amber said but that's not true you don't need to do that."
I peek off the bandage to reveal a perfect black heart, I love it so much. Marina puts her hand next to mine while I take a picture of our tattoos on her phone. Mari starts the car and were headed to the coast, radio all the way up.

This chapter is to reveal what Marinas big plan really was and to demonstrate how close M&M are as friends. It was mostly Maddie's thoughts. I'll update later or tomorrow. love you!!!! There's a picture of Maddie at the beginning of this chapter.
