the beginning of it all

  Hey guys! I don't know if anyone will read this and it is my first one so please be nice haha.
I will try to update about every weekend but I apologize if I don't. With school and life I don't really know what will happen but I will try my best.

       I was walking down the road to my house after school and I hear my best friend shouting my name "CASSIE, HURRY!" Becca said running into me. "What is happening?" I said scared something horrible happened. " QUICK, GO INSIDE AND TURN ON CHANNEL 257!" She said.
 
We both sprinted inside and turned the tv channel to 257. What I saw was amazing. I started screaming like the fan girl I am. "Enter the contest to win a day with the one and only Harry Styles!" the tv said. I lost it. I knew I had to hurry and enter the contest before there were too many people. I hurried and called the number on the screen.
 
When I called the number, an answering machine picked up. I sighed and told Becca "It's just an answering machine." All of a sudden I hear an actual person start talking and say "Hello, you have called the number to enter the contest to win a day with Harry Styles!" I freeze and then yell into the phone "OH MY GOD HOW DO I WIN!"
 
Becca yells back at me to calm down and not to yell at the guy on the phone. I try my best to calm down but it was impossible to knowing i could win a day with HARRY FREAKING STYLES.
The man on the phone laughs and then said "All you have to do is tell me your full name, phone number, and what the best way to contact you is."
 
I tell becca that this seems a little sketchy and i'm not so sure this is real anymore. "i'm sure it's fine, and if you really don't wanna have a one in a life time chance to meet Harry you don't have to do this." she says in a tone. I sigh and give the guy my information.
 
After I give him my name and number he says "Thanks, someone will contact you if you win." and then hangs up on me before i could say anything else. "Well that was a bit weird." i say. Becca wasn't a 100% sure about this either. She tried to hide it so i wouldn't regret it even more than i already did but she wasn't very good at hiding things.
 
I ask "Well, now what?"  "I guess we just wait." says becca. I realize that we don't know how long it will be until we know the winner and decide to call back. The same guy answers and says exactly what he said before "Hello, you have called the number to enter the contest to win a day with Harry Styles!" I say "Heyy, sorry i already called but we don't know how long it's going to be until you guys pick a winner. Could you tell us how long it might be?" The man replies with "Oh right sorry about that. It should be about a month or so. Thanks again." he says and hangs up.

Wow a month. I don't know if i can wait a month to find out if I'm going to be meeting harry.
