'Maa I cannot come' I have an important OS upgrade this weekend along with the DC migration major phase starting this weekend...And what should I do by coming there... Yuvi is getting married...you are going to get a daughter in law finally...so be happy na...why do I have to come there Maa?'

'Because although you don't care fulfilling my wish... My Yuvi is finally doing it... Although the girl's father is your dad's college friend. We have never been in touch with them. Vaishali aunty brought this proposal so we matched the horoscopes..they were a perfect match. That's why we agreed to meet them... Irritated with her son's attitude...An angry Sumitra yelled at him..

'Mahirrrr.... I have asked you to come and you are coming! Fine you said you don't want to marry I agreed! You are 29... Yuvi is 25... Still I'm getting Yuvi married. I fought with your dad too...How long are you going to sit and sulk son? You still want to marry that'

'Maa please...I don't want anyone! And stop this emotional blackmail... I don't want to be rude to you...but I really don't want to choose or influence Yuvi...let him make a call!'

'Mahir... for my sake Child!!! It's in Bangalore only...i don't even want you to come to Dharwad...please son'

And there her son melted. Mahir can tolerate anything but this pleading of his mom.

'Fine maa... ping me the address' he said softly...

And Sumitra chuckled happily...

'Right away Mr Sehgal' she said happily...

While Mahir smiled and dropped the call.

There Sumitra grinned and prayed to God for a minute...

'I just hope my plan becomes succesful' thinking she smiles...

Mahir Sehgal was the eldest son of Sumitra and Anand (Andy) Sehgal... Sumitra was a gynaecologist and Andy was a cardiologist. They both worked for a reputed hospital in Dharwad and also had a small clinic in the other portion of their house. They were considerably rich but as both were self made people... they wanted their children to find their own ground too...They let them fly without trying to pamper them with luxuries of life. They even made sure their kids studied with an education loan only which only made both their sons Mahir and Yuvraj extremely responsible children. Mahir did his Engineering followed by MS from the local Dharwad University and finally got himself a job in a reputed IT company 'Hastings Richards' where currently he is working as a Subject Matter Expert and a leading a team of 12 people. With a decent 7 years of experience. Mahir was on his own feet and stayed in a rented 1bhk in Bangalore.
Yuvraj on the other hand completed his MBBS and was now working as a rector and also doing his PG in a reputed hospital in Dharwad.

Sumitra and Andy wanted their kids to get married but Mahir's broken heart never let him move on. Finally after years of persuasion she gave up and finally Yuvraj's turn.

The girl was someone Yuvraj saw at Mahir's bestie Vyom's wedding. She was a bubbly pretty dusky beauty and one flash Yuvraj was long gone. It wasn't love but Yuvraj certainly wanted to know the girl more but before anything happened Sumitra noticed this and had enquired about the girl and found out that the girl was Achala and Jagmohan Sharma's daughter who was once Andy's classmate. Andy told he will talk to Mohan and arrange the meeting. Yuvraj was happy yet hell nervous too. He got to know that the girl is a doctor too which made him very nervous.
