Its my first day of school. first day in
college. i dont know anyone. i am notfamiliar with
theplace. and now i'm super nervous. i think i'm
hyperventilating. :D any advice on how to cope?
Just keep one thing in mind: EVERY freshman is new and doesn't know anyone. It is not just you. Everyone is nervous, everyone wants to make the ideal first impression. When you think of it this way, it doesn't seem so bad. You are all in the same boat. You will only have one "first day" of college. It only gets easier frm there
Remember that most of your classmates are in the exact same situation that you are. Your classmates are almost all going to be freshman, and it's a great opportunity to meet new people. College also gives you a number of opportunities to meet people who have similar interests as you. Find a group that speaks to you, there are probably several on campus. It's frightening, but you will find it much easier once it begins.
