I looked at the caller ID on my phone as it rings on my coffee table. I smiled to myself and answered the call.

"Hey daddy,"

"Daddy? I'm not that old you know, twenty seven is not that old." Drew debates making me chuckle, he doesn't get it.

"I know, but that's not how it works, you just have daddy energy."

"Whatever kid. I was calling to tell you're to coming with me to Nick's engagement party this Saturday, I'll pick you up at seven."

"You're not gonna ask, just demand things."

"Yap." I rolled my eyes.

"See daddy energy. Anyway yeah I'll go."

"Great, bye."

With that he hung up the phone. It's been a week since our lunch and things have been good. He always calls at least once a day and never ignores my texts. But I haven't seen him and I'm starting to miss him. He's been really busy making a presentation for some big client. Not sure he's taking care of himself, he looks like the type to forget to eat when busy and I can't have my fated starving out here. So today I decided to make some chicken fried rice with stemmed vegetables. I parked it up really nice and made my way to his company. I hope he doesn't get angry he sort of has a temper.

I pulled up to his office building and everything and everyone one looks fancy. I walked up to a lady at the reception whose hair is up in a tight ponytail and is wearing a black dress and blood red lipstick. She flashed me a smile.

"Hello welcome to Carson's interior design company, I'm Stacey how may I help you?"

"Yes, my name is Alex, I'm looking for Andrew Carson."

"Do you have an appointment?"

"No, you see I'm his fated and I knows his been busy so I thought I'd surprise him with a little lunch."

She nodded  and picked up the phone. She pressed a single digit and she has a short conversation. Then looked up at me.

"Mr. Carson will see you. The elevator is that way press the seventeenth floor button it's the only office up there."

"Thank you."

I said and walked to the direction of the elevator. I looked out the glass and watching the city come to view and the cars and people get smaller the view was great since the building was somewhere elevated. The elevator dinged and doors opened and I was met with a desk out side of opaque office glass doors. The lady at the desk smiled at me and told me to walk right in. I pushed the doors open and my breath was taken away.

From his office there's a view of the city. The room is filled with his cologne. There is big desk in the middle and a huge shelf filled with books and files. On the right there is a sitting area with magazines piled neatly in the middle of the glass coffee table. And father in the corner there is a small bar. My fated is standing at a drawing desk wearing grey dress pants and a white long sleeve shirt with the sleeves rolled up to his elbows showing off his ink. He finally turns his attention to me and I see bags under his eyes and his complection looking pale.

"What are you doing here?" He asked.

"I brought you lunch, have you eaten?"

"No time." He dismissed me and went back to drawing.

I walked over to him grabbed the pencil from his hand placed it on the desk and pulled him to the sofa,  I placed the containers on the coffee table and opened them for him.

"Eat, I had a feeling you weren't taking care of yourself turns out I was right you look like shit. When was the last time you slept or ate?"

"I don't have time for this, I need to finish this work it's important. Just go home."

"No, I'm not leaving until you finish this food."

"You're annoying I don't have time to argue with you." He said glaring at me but taking the food any way. He ate in silence. After a while the containers are empty. "That was actually good, thanks. Now you have to leave I'm just doing the final touches on the floor plan I'll give my assistant to digitalise everything later."

"Good, I'll be going." I packed my things up and left.

By the time I got to my car I was still not happy about how Drew was taking care of himself. I looked down at my cupholder and saw my keys and Drew's key in the mix. Then an idea piped in my head. I scrolled through my contact and found Nick's number. I texted him and asked him for Drew's address which he happily sent me. I drove to the store and got some groceries and went to his house.

His house was Morden. Most of the things were white and had an accent colour of black. It felt a bit empty but I guessed it's because he never spends most of his time here. I walked around explored the home. Everything was neat and clean. I finally got to the kitchen settings the things down. Like I suspected the fridge was almost empty. There was just juice and a box of left over pizza. I put everything away and started to prepare some dinner. I slow cooked some stake made some mash potatoes and fried veggies.

By the time I was done cooking it was dark and Drew strolled in the house giving me a disapproving look. I just smiled sheepishly. He sat at a bar stool on the kitchen counter and I served him a plate. I walked behind him and gripped his shoulder slowly massaging him. He let out a moan of satisfaction.

"If you stop I swear I'll kill you." He said breathlessly.

I chuckled and continued. After a short while I stopped and let him eat. I poured him a glass of red wine and he crooked his brow at me.

"What?"

"I see you've figured your way around my kitchen and house apparently." He said pointing at the wine I had taken from the wine cellar. I didn't know much about wine but it was written in a foreign language and looked old so...

"I told you that I just want to take care of you and make sure your satisfied." I said sitting beside him eating my own food.

"Well thank you. But I won't be much company tonight I'm tired and very sleepy." He said finishing the last of his meal before getting up and putting the plate in the sink looking at the dishes in despair.

"Don't worry I'll clean up, just go shower and go to bed babe." I said laughing.

He nodded taking his briefcase and coat and walking out the kitchen. I finished my dinner and did the dishes cleaning up the kitchen. I walked up stairs looking for Drew, but it was quiet there was only a single light on from a room at the end of the hall. I knocked softly but there was no answer. I opened the door quietly and found Drew long passed out with in only his boxers with the covers kicked off.

I creeped in the room and pulled the covers over him and pet his head. His features where relax he looked so peaceful I couldn't help but smile. I kissed his forehead softly and walked out the room turning off the lights and closing the door behind me. I walked back to the living room and collapsed on the most comfortable couch and passed out smiling. How could I not everything smelled like him.
