It's been 5 years, 5 years of being on the senate. You've forced yourself to put but a bright smile on every time you show up to work, you suspect many of your coworkers don't have you in their best interests but you learn to go with the flow. After a long day of work you finally make it home and plop down on your bed knowing you still have more work to do. It's the year 2055, early December, you recently moved from Portland to Washington D.C, you still aren't really used to the cold weather. You finally get up and stroll to your desk to do more work, while working you begin to doze off like always, your coworkers also point it out to you, but you always say "It helps me concentrate."

While dozing off, you remember that next year is an election year. You've wondering if you should run or not. Your friends, Svetlana and Sasha, have been terrorizing you about running for president. Svetlana also brought up how bad President Smith was, but it didn't matter because he can't even run again, he severed his eight years. Throughout your career, you've learned that the media has some types of vendetta against you, in fact just a couple years, Fox News, began spreading lies about you. Knowing that so many people could believe something because the news said it terrifies you.

The year is already over and you spent your night at home with your dogs instead of going to the White House New Years Party, you've never been into parties anyway and it wouldn't be enjoyable knowing that everyone is pretty much two faced. To welcome in the new year, you took a trip to Italy, which made everyone mad because you "refuse" to interact or talk to your other coworkers. All I really care about is doing my job correctly and keeping a stable relationship with your coworkers, not actually building a friendship with them. It's already late January, about 5 people have announced their run for president, you finally stop wondering about running for president and turn it into running for president. You begin organizing a team to help you with your campaign. You spoke with you team about where you should announce that you're running for president, one person recommends Good Morning America and you realizes that it's perfect, you already had an interview scheduled that week GMA.

You get ready in the morning making yourself look better then usual. While in the car, you begin you doubt yourself, regretting that you actually put you money into a campaign that would probably run out of money in the next three months. You pictured yourself thanking the American people for choosing you as their president and all your doubt went away. Once you came out, everyone began cheering for you. You spoke to the host for about working on the senate and life in general for about 10 minutes. Just as the interview ends, you cut off the host and ask "Can I announce something really quick?" "Sure." The host says looking very confused. "I would like to announce that me, Maria Diaz, will running for president!" The studio audience begins to clap and scream in excitement, a big smile appears on your face. But you knew that being Hispanic and being a woman on top of that would make lots of people really angry, but you knew you couldn't show anyone how you truly felt.
