Rose's POV
Dear Diary,
It's been three weeks since Jonah and I moved in with Aunt Jess and I guess you can say we're better, both of us. Jonah's talking to me again and we'll even sit on the sofa and watch movies together with Jess in the evenings. I still don't know if it's really gonna be okay though. I have this weird feeling that some thing's about to happen and I don't even - well, I gotta go to school. It'll be the first day back in Brunswick High School. Let's see how it goes.
Love, Rosalie"I'm so excited that you are back at it, girl! ", Liv tells me as we get out the car and make our way to the high school.
There are hardly any people here but the heads of those who are turn to look at me. I could swear that I hear them whispering about me.
I don't want this.
"Well, let's get you to the office to pick up your schedule. I have this feeling that we might have a lot of classes together", Liv tells me as we make our way through the high school to the office.
Students are rushing into the school now, opening their lockers quickly to get out their books and other school stuff they need for their first class. You'd think they wouldn't bother looking at me, the new-old girl that once was one of the most popular kids at this school, but they do.
I can feel their stares in my back as I open the door to the office. Liv follows me.
I immediately recognize the room and Mrs. Langdon who takes her glasses off and puts them on again, not trusting herself.
"Rosalie O'Brian! Is that you? I heard about your parents, I'm so sorry for your loss! So good to see you after all this time, honey!"
She smiles at me, a warm, caring smile.
"Thank you", I mutter.
"Where is your brother, Jonah?"
"He said he'd ride with Jess so he'll be here in a -", I start, just as the door gets ripped open and slams shut again. A breathless Jonah smiles at me, then at Mrs. Langdon. He looks tired and his hair is completely tousled and his blue eyes are lighter than normal. I can tell he's excited to be back.
"Hey, Rose", he says, placing a short kiss on my cheek. "Hi Mrs. Langdon", he adds with a sly grin. "Good to see ya."
She smiles. "Good to see you, too, Jonah." She leans forward and seems to be searching for something. A few seconds later she holds two sheets of paper in her hand. "Here are your schedules. Rosalie, you got your first class, History, with Liv, and Jonah, so do you. She'll help you find everything if you don't remember the rooms."
"How would I forget?", Jonah mutters grinning and takes it. "Thanks."
"Welcome, honey. I will see you two later then."
"Come on, guys", Liv says. She opens the door for us.
We walk down the corridor, me in between Liv and Jonah. I feel like he glares at every guy who looks at me for more than a second, but maybe my imagination is playing tricks on me.
I look down at the ground while walking when I hear Liv gasp.
"Oh damn", she mutters. I look up.
Just to see five of the hottest guys I've ever seen in my life walk down the hallway in the opposite direction we're going.
One of them, a boy with darker skin and dark hair and eyes smirks at Liv while two of them, one boy with amazing light blue eyes and blond hair and another with stunningly green eyes and curly brown hair look at me. The stare of the green eyed guy makes me feel a little uncomfortable.
