The selected are boarding a train that will take them to the palace so they can meet the Prince (Cass Schreave) they are trying to fight for.

-Fiji Souhait- POV:

Fiji narrowed her eyes as she looked at the train. Once she stepped on, it'd be a one way ride to a life changing event. It was probably already filled with people that could affect her life drastically, and she wasn't sure what to think.
She swatted away her moms hand as she tried to fix up her hair. "Mom stop, I'm fine." She said, running a hand through her brown hair before letting it fall back down onto her shoulders.
"I know Honey, I know. I just want you to make a good impression!"
"And I don't careee." Fiji said in a sing song voice. "They'll get to see me like this, and if they don't like that, oh well."
Her mom pursed her lips. She was aware that this was a big moment and her mother really wanted her to fall in love with the prince, but Fiji wasn't sure that sounded very fun. Plus, she was a master at reading people and, by the looks of it, Prince Cass wasn't exactly looking forward to this Selection very much either. She just joined because she needed a breather from home.

Her past relationship hadn't gone so well and she wanted to be as far away as possible from /him/. She looked back at her mom. "I love you, Fi. You got this." Her mother whispered as they hugged and Fiji could tell her mom was tearing up.

"By, Mom. I love you too." She kissed her on the cheek and before they could say anything else, she picked up the last of her bags and hopped on the train.

Wow. She'd only been on a train once before when she was eleven, but Fiji had to admit, this was a pretty fancy train. She walked through the corridor, looking around to see if any other Selected had entered. Nope. She was the first. She shrugged, it wasn't that big of a deal. She walked towards the back and found a nice cart to sit in, probably big enough to fit another six people. She shuffled to the window seat and sat down softly. She wasn't really wearing anything much. Just a black top and black leggings, although she was pretty sure all the Selected were supposed to arrive like that.

Fiji sighed and stared out the window, watching as all the families hugged and cried and said their goodbyes. Why were people so dramatic? It's not like they were going off to war or anything. She saw a few dads in the crowd. She wasn't particularly upset that her father couldn't come, although he seemed more sad about it than she was. He just had some work stuff and Fiji was fine with that. She doubted she'd make it past the first week anyways.
She shook her head and studied her nails, waiting for something interesting to happen. Hopefully the other Selected wouldn't be boring, then the Selection would just be a dry event where a bunch of girls went on dates with the same guy until he found a wife. Well that basically was a summery of how Selections usually went, but she hoped for drama. Action. Something exciting. She honestly wouldn't mind if one of the Selected was a total brat who wanted to kill everyone. It would really bring some flavor to this whole thing.
She wondered what the royals would be like.

Hopefully they were good people. Based on what she saw on TV, Fiji could assume that was correct. At least most of them were. She continued to watch all the people outside who were simply here to support the Selected and smiled. Fiji was sure that this unique experience would definitely be one she'd remember quite vividly forever. From now on, everyone would be watching them.

-Merida- POV:

Merida was getting ready to get to the train station. She was wearing a light yellow sun dress and a touch of lipstick. Her mom called from downstairs, so she quickly ran downstairs, shoved a piece of toast in her mouth, and headed out.

She looked around the station cautiously. There were a lot of people here. She squeezed through them, her lipstick probably ended up on someone's jacket, they were so close. She rushed up to the door of the train, and then entered the train. The train was cute. She liked it. She still couldn't believe she was selected. Like it's a dream or something. Her life was about to change forever and it would be a good change. She was so excited to meet the other selected and the royals. Maybe she would get to see some of the selected on the train. She entered the cart that she was assigned too. She saw a pretty girl and smiled then walked over to her "Can I sit?" She asked motioning to the seat I front of the girl. She was always one for manners and tried to use them as often as she could.
