Chapter 8

P.O.V/ Jesse Roberts:

It's been a week since my parents were killed by Kelly, Kevyn and Austin. I feel so guilty that I couldn't stop it because I didn't see it coming nobody did and now they are dead. Losing your parents is one of the hardest things people have to face in their lives that one day your mom and dad won't be here anymore once they are both gone nothing ever feels right anymore because a big part of you is missing that went with them. My parents were still in great health and could have lived much longer but that is not possible anymore thanks to them but that's okay this is far from over the minute I get the chance to vanquish those sorry assholes I'm doing it to avenge my parents death they took something that meant the world to me so that's why I killed Alexia in front of Kelly and forced her to watch. Today is November 10, 2017 the day of their funeral. This is the same cemetery that Riley is buried at as well as Alex and the others. Eric, Mason, Cheyenne and Nicole carried the caskets to the burial site. The preacher begins his speech " Receive the lord's blessing. The lord bless you and watch over you. The lord make his face shine upon you, and be gracious to you. The lord look kindly on you and give you peace; in the name of the father, son and the holy spirit, Amen". Everyone sobs as we say amen. Afterwards the workers come to lower the caskets into the ground as we all stand back and watch from a distant I cry in agony as I hold onto to Jane's arm watching the caskets go into the ground. They bring in two backhoes it's a machine that lifts the dirt up and places it in the grave until it's full then they pack the dirt in with some type of machine and leave after they cleaned up. I walk up to the burial site and stand in the middle of the graves I sob as I look down at the dirt I said as I cried " I swear I won't stop until they are all dead.... I'm not gonna let them get away

this time...." I walk back over to Jane and the others we make our way back to our cars and drive back to my house for the wake.

It's me, Jane, Nicole, Alex, Riley, Dani, Sam, Valerie, Mason and Mikayla a few of my parents' friends and family just left the house after hanging out with for a bit. We are just sitting there in silence when Valerie walks up stairs she is very upset over Kelly and them killing my parents. Sam is sitting at the end of the couch quietly sobbing she goes to get up and I said " I'll go talk to her stay down here with your sister". Riley is sitting on the couch beside Sam she lays her head on her right shoulder and sobs as Sam pets her hair and as Dani holds her hand and just cries. I walk up stairs and down the hallway to the last room on the right side of the hallway that is across from mine and Jane's room. I gently knock on the door and I hear a broken voice from inside say " Come in"... I turn the knob and walk in I see Valerie laying on the bed on her side facing away from the door she looks back at me with her face flushed from crying. She turns over on her side as I lay down beside her I said " How are you holding up?" She said as she cried " Not good... I can't help but feel like it's my fault why this happened if I hadn't of vanquish Drew then Kevyn wouldn't have lost it".... I pet her hair and said " It's not your fault honey.. Drew deserved it she killed your parents and Jordan. This is not your fault I promise Kelly, Kevyn and Austin are gonna get what's coming to them". I pull her into a hug as she holds onto my back and cries into my chest. I said as I cried with her " It's okay baby they are in a better place now"... After laying there with her for a bit we get up and go to walk out the door when flames swirl in front of us. Kelly and Kevyn appear from the flames their eyes are red. I stand in front of Valerie and said " Get the fuck out of my house.. you've caused enough damage.. just please leave"... Kelly said " Sorry no can do Jesse this time it's personal you killed Alexia and she killed Drew now you both must face the consequences". I have one hand behind my back I conjure up a dagger behind my back. I said " Fine I'll face them just let Valerie go". She said behind me " Jesse no..." Kelly walks up to me and said as she stared into my eyes with her ocean blue eyes " You both die bitch now you better get on your knees and pray. beg for your life". I play along and get down on my knees in front of her. Kelly grins evilly as she looks down at me. She said " I believe I like you better on your knees". Kelly and Kevyn snicker. Kevyn said " Kill that bitch Mom".

She holds out her hand and a metal stake appears in her hand. She raises it in the air and right when she does I bring the dagger out from behind my back and plunge the blade deep in the side of Kelly's right thigh I twist it and she screams in agony. I said " Now Valerie!!!" Valerie throws her hands up and two powerful streams of fire shoot out. One hits Kevyn in the chest and the other one hits Kelly. Kevyn flies into the left corner of the room by the door while Kelly hits the right one. Valerie and I take off running out the door and down stairs where we meet the others headed on their way up stairs. I said " It's Kelly and Kevyn I hand Jane the dagger covered in Kelly's blood and she runs over and opens the fridge putting it in and shutting it to preserve the blood. They come rushing down the stairs Kelly is half limping as the wound heals. Kevyn hold out her hand and jerks it towards her sending Valerie flying onto the floor in front of her feet. Kelly stomps Valerie in ribs and she yells out in pain. Jane throws her hand up and shoots an energy beam emission at them but Kelly holds her hand up and uses her power called Deviation to send it back we all scatter as the energy beam rips through the island shattering it. Kevyn has the back of Valerie's hair with a potion bottle in her that is glowing bright orange, Jane gets an idea and runs over to the fridge she pulls out two viles that are glowing that atomic green it's what was left over from Drew's vanquishing potion just without her hair in it. Jane quickly take the dagger out and grabs a napkin and wipes the blood into the open potion bottles it drips in turning red and atomic green. Jenny is trying to bust through the force field that Kelly has put up while they try to break the potion on Valerie but she's fighting with them as Kevyn grips her hair.

Finally Jenny busts through with one last blast when she does Valerie gets loose from Kevyn and I chuck the potion at Kevyn and it hits her busting on her chest she sees her shirt beginning to melt as the potion burns her skin. She screams in agony as it continues to burn her Kelly screams " NOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!" And starts launching high voltage energy balls and fire balls at us. We all dodge them Mikayla is standing in the hallway in front of the front door to protect the baby. Jane throws her hand up and shoots Kelly with an energy beam it hits her in the shoulder and she flies up the stairs. Kevyn is completely consumed in flames she holds her hands on her temples and screams in defeat as she looks up at the ceiling all a sudden she explodes sending waves of the explosion throughout the

house the sound of the windows shattering rings in our ears as we all take cover in hallway with Mikayla as Alex holds up her white light shield protecting us. After the blast we hear Kelly sobbing Alex lets the shield down and Kelly stands in front of us she transforms into her demonic side and lets out a long demonic scream. I quickly throw the potion as she dashes towards us. It smashes on her face and she slides on the floor stopping as she catches on fire like Kevyn did she looks at her hands as they burn up and screams " NOOOO!!!! you can't defeat me!!!!!! I'm stronger than every last one of you!!!!!!" We see that she is going to make an even bigger explosion we all take off running past her to the sliding glass door I was the last one out as Kelly screams in defeat " Arrghhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" and explodes causing a catastrophic explode that sends me flying of the second part of the deck and into the air I feel something go through my back as I hit the ground on my stomach.

Jane's P.O.V/ The house exploded with Kelly in it and now there is black smoke covering the air. I raise up and don't see Jesse I said " Jesse!!??" I stumble up walking through the black smoke and I hear the sounds of Riley and Sam scream and cry. Then I see her laying there on her stomach as Riley and Sam are on their knees in front of her. I yell " NOOOOO!!!!" I get down on my knees and Jesse chokes out " Pull it out Jane"... I jerk the small steel pole out of her and she rolls over on her back and I see her black t-shirt filling with blood around her heart. I pull her in my lap and cry in agony. I said as I cried " Nooo... not you too... please... this can't be happening..." Jesse looks up at me and said " It's okay baby... I... know... you... will... take...care of our kids..." blood is coming from her mouth I said as I cried " But I can't lose you too... I can't go on without you.... please don't leave me... I love you so much Jesse.... she looks over at Riley and Sam as they are breaking down in agony She chokes out " I... love... you... guys... all of you..." she looks at the others. Fire starts appearing on her I scream in anguish " NOOOOOO!!!!!!!!" as she explodes into a pile ashes on the ground everyone is breaking down and exclaiming in anguish Mason is pacing the grass as he sobs. I just hold Riley and Sam in my arms as we all cry in anguish. Jesse risked her life to save all of us and now I've lost the love of my life. I lost Jason and now I've lost her I guess I'm meant to be alone for eternity cause I will never find anyone else like Jesse or Jason. It's so hard to move on but I'm

doing for the kids because they need me as much as I need them. Three months later Mikayla has her baby a little boy that they named Jesse Evan Watson to honor Jesse's memory that will forever live on through all of us. As for Austin and the others they haven't been seen since Kelly and Kevyn were vanquished.
