Walking was all you were doing. Everyone was afraid to even stand 10 feet away from where you were walking by. Slender woods. You always felt so safe there. You were always that one child that was weird. That one child that felt the safest in the most dangerous of places. At one point some of the popular girls from your High School came to bully you on your walk home. Of course instincts kicked in and so did your fight-or-flight too, you ran a mile or 2 into the woods and waited till Nightfall, as you were walking out you saw the popular girls dismembered and guts hanging off trees. Some of the organs were even missing. Like kidneys, or the liver, or even the intestines (both large and small). But also there were the police dogs that came as you were walking back. The police asked you questions and you answered them.
You smiled as you remembered the gruesome scene and the smile disappeared when there was a crowd up ahead. You merge into the crowd to see yet another gruesome sight of another dismembered person, with missing organs, get pulled out. After seeing that, you walked out of the crowd and head to work.
"Where were you (Y/n)?" Interrogated (B/n)
"Sorry sorry, there was a crowd by the woods and someone had pulled out a body." You answered.
(B/n) Sighed, "When will city hall get the fact that if those fences don't get put up, people will Just keep Dying?"
"Maybe because if City Hall does that, families and people by the woods would get kicked out so they can put the fencing in." You inquired.
"Also the City Hall might not have enough money to put the fencing up and kick people out of their homes." The quiet (f/n) pipped up.
"You're right." Sighed (B/n) after a few moments, "But (Y/n), Why do you walk by the woods. You could be grabbed and pulled in and killed by HIM for all the town cares." (B/n) asked
You shrug, "I dunno. I guess by the woods is where I feel safest. After all (popular girls' names from high school) got killed when I ran deep into the woods when they perused. The police, who found me at that time, got killed when they followed me out of the woods. But also, the woods seem to part and let me through when I enter."
(F/n) Pipped up " Maybe He wants you for a mate. You do make for a good mother!!"
"W-WHAT!?!?" You yelled, "W-why would he want me out of all people?"
"Maybe because you act like a good mother around people close to you, you listen, you do your duties and parts around the town, and some men say you would make a great wife to the lucky man you marry." One of your coworkers answered.
Then there was a snapping sound of a stick and everyone in the store looked out the window that faces the woods but there was nothing there.
