Off's POV

A few of our department's creative heads and I, including Nong Gun, were currently in a meeting discussing marketing tactics for upcoming products.

I've noticed that he's not the most talkative type; aside from the interactions we had on the roof, we must have exchanged a total of two sentences which included "Excuse me." and "Oh I'm sorry." both of which he said without bothering to look up at me.

"Next up, we have the new extension of our beauty line! We're finally expanding from skin care to beauty products, starting simply with a long lasting foundation, concealer, and a highlighter pallet." Maya said handing a product sample to everyone in the meeting along with an advertisement proposal and with a list of potential castings for the adverts.

The proposal seemed to be pretty generic with women running around signifying the wearability of the product along with additional information about how the makeup is easy to blend and look it portrays... pretty basic make-up related thi-

"Why are there only girls?" An unknown voice asked making me look up.

I suppose it caught everyone's attention as I watched heads turn left and right, looking for the person that spoke up.

"Huh?" Maya asked.

"Why are all the potential casting only women and girls?" Gun inquired.

"Because it's makeup P'Gun." Maya said in a "you wouldn't know" tone, keeping a professional smile on her face.

"Exactly. It's makeup and makeup is for anyone who wants to wear it, so don't you think by casting only women we're agreeing to pre-existing gender norms?" He said making me nod along with everyone else in the room.

"I suppose you're right... many gay guys wear mak-"

"Uh what does sexuality have to do with anything?" Gun asked cutting Maya off, making her tight, professional smile drop for the first time since she's started her presentation.

Unfortunately for her, Gun's voice was very respectful and calm which made her offended expression look unwarranted.

"I'm just saying Phi." Her strained voice replied.

"So am I. Again Nong, makeup is for anyone! Not only does it not have anything to do with gender it also has nothing to do with sexuality; it's for people who want to express themselves." Gun said.

"Phi... it'll be hard to find casting because men don't usually appear in makeup ads." Maya said with a frustrated huff.

"Nong there's no har-" I was getting tired of their back and forth and having to listen to Maya's weak points against Gun's strong proposal so I interrupted the discussion.

"Then you don't have to do it." I said cutting Gun off. Everyone looked at me, especially Maya and Gun. Maya looked like she was having a little victory dance in her head with a little smile on her face while Gun... he didn't necessarily look sad but didn't look too happy about what I said either.

"Khun Gun Atthaphan." I called out.

"Khap Khun?"

"You'll be taking over this project."
