My Omega ~ Kookjin (RE-WRITTEN VERSION)

{Chapter 5}

~2 months later~

Jin

     "What are you all doing in my house?" Waking on on a Saturday morning, I thought it would just be a normal day.
     I woke up, brushed my teeth, washed my face, showered. You know, the usual. I went downstairs and into my living room to find 4 people in it.
     "We just wanted to see you hyung! Plus, your door was unlocked." Jimin says, looking at me with a smile on his face.
     "I don't ever leave my door unlocked so one of you has an extra key. Hand it over."

     After fighting with Yoongi, Jimin, Hoseok, and Namjoon over giving me my extra house key back, all is calm.
     That was until I got a text from Jungkook to which I pulled Jimin from the couch and into my kitchen.
     "Jesus Jin, what's the problem?" "Jungkook just texted me. He wants to take me out." "Again?!" "Yes, again, now be quiet before the boys find out." "Before the boys find out about what, Hyung?"

     Turning around, I see Yoongi standing in the entryway of my kitchen, his arms folded over his chest and an off expression on his face. "Nothing! Nothing at all! Jin was just telling me about this new café he found out about online. Right?" Jimin says, very quickly might I add.
     Yoongi doesn't pay Jimin any attention as he walks closer to the two of us, his eyes never leaving my own. "I don't think that's what it was about Jimin. You're both hiding something and you've been hiding it for the past 2 months. You need to explain yourselves."
     "I don't appreciate your tone Yoongi." "And I don't appreciate you keeping secrets Jin." "Look Yoongi, you need to either calm down or get out. I'm not in the mood to deal with you today. If I wanted you to know what was going on, I would tell you. You are not entitled to know anything. Your alpha status means nothing to me. I am still your hyung and you will respect me as such. Now get out of my kitchen and take your attitude with you."
Yoongi leaves the kitchen angrily, but without saying a word. He has some nerve thinking he can come into my house and think he has authority over me just because he's an alpha and because we've been close since we were kids.
"Wow Jin. I'm not surprised at all, but damn. Jungkook has a lot in store for him. I mean- if anything happens between the two of you at some point..haha..please don't kill me-"
"It just irritated me that Yoongi thinks he can use his alpha tone with me and get me to do whatever he wants. He never did this before. Even when we were dating he never acted that way towards me. Just because he's protective of the two of his doesn't mean he gets to act that way. He needs to grow up."
Jimin sighs and places his head on my shoulder from behind, wrapping his arms around my waist. "I think the two of us could use a day out. We can do whatever we want. No alphas involved. How does that sound?" Jimin says.
I sigh, crossing my arms over my chest. "I don't know Jimin. Maybe another day, but not today. And besides, Jungkook wanted to pick me up today. I'm not trying to push you aside for him, but I think I want to give Jungkook a chance. We'll always have our days together though, don't worry. No alpha is going to stop me from doing what I want."
Jimin chuckles and let's go of me, walking over to the entryway of my kitchen. "I'll leave you to get ready hyungie and I'll take the alphas with me, don't worry." Jimin says, smiling as he walks down the hall.
     Jimin and I had planned to talk about how things were going with Jungkook and Taehyung for a bit today, but of course, Yoongi, Namjoon, and Hoseok just had to come over.
     Yoongi's attitude has really gotten worse since our break up. We broke up about a year ago, so I don't see why he won't just move on. There are plenty of alphas and betas that I'm sure would be happy with him.
     I wish Yoongi was more like his brother sometimes. Joonie is so sweet and adorable, I'm sure he'll find an omega fo suit him someday. Now, Hoseok is a different story. We haven't known him for very long. Jimin and I still have no idea what he does for work, but we're determined to find out. As long as neither of them find out what I do, it won't be a problem.
     Once I hear my front door close, I leave the kitchen and walk upstairs to my bedroom. Jungkook said that he just wanted to walk around the park later today, so he told me to dress comfortable.
     I'm honestly excited to see him. We've been talking and meeting up more over the past 2 months. I don't think I've ever been like this with someone before. Not even Yoongi. Don't get me wrong, I did love Yoongi while we were together and I still care for him deeply, but there's definitely something different between him and Jungkook.
     There's a different connection between Jungkook and I that wasn't there with Yoongi. I think another reason Yoongi was upset earlier is because I asked him to stop helping me through my heats about a month ago. If I'm going to be talking to someone I shouldn't be allowing someone else to touch me in that way.
     Jungkook knows that I'm not a virgin and he knows about Yoongi and the others, but he still doesn't know what I do for work. The time will come for that conversation.
     Enough thinking about everything. Jungkook is picking me up at 4 and it's 12 now. I have plenty of time to get ready, but I still haven't decided on what to wear.
