The next few days were exhausting for Taehyung. Even though he's faking the tough guy, Taehyung begins to pay attention to what's going on around him. For example, there was a new student who asked for help and he assumed that Jeongguk sent him. Because of this, he told him to go away. It turned out that the poor boy was actually new to university and had applied for a spot on the baseball team. Imagine how guilty the Alpha felt. Every damn time Taehyung tried to speak to him, he avoided his eyes. At least he forgives him now after apologizing three times.

Perhaps Jeongguk wanted that kind of vengeance. His rival questioned everything and everyone. Taehyung has to admit that this is very smart of the fucker.

"Hyung." The baseball captain calls for Namjoon, who is stretching his arms. "Can you help me here for a moment?"

The older one nods, shakes his limbs before walking over to him. "What do you need help with?"

Taehyung pulls him closer, looking left and right to make sure no one is within earshot. "Jeon, I have to scare him and you are the one who has to find out about his fears." With a big smile, he blinks a few times to look cute. It always helps him in certain situations.

Namjoon frowns. "And why should I do that?"

Maybe it doesn't work on him, but he's his brother so it was bound to happen.

"Well, because you love me?" The younger says factually.

"I am your brother, Tae."

"Right! Blood is thicker than water. We are a family, and families have to help each other in difficult times. Subtle ask Jimin about it and then tell me. It's a matter of life and death." Taehyung exaggerates as he often does. Namjoon is already used to the captains' pranks but doesn't want to be part of it.

"No, Jimin and I are not interested. Think of us as Switzerland, we are neutral and do our own thing. We won't get involved in your childish shit." Namjoon walks away without waiting for an answer or paying attention to the pout.

"But Hyung!" The younger screams after the older one and only receives a dismissive hand movement as rejection. "Well, I can do it myself." He scoffs and sees Jimin hugging his brother with the archenemy standing right behind him.

Their eyes meet. Taehyung shows him the middle finger while Jeongguk gives him an air kiss. "I hate you so much." The older moves his mouth so the basketball captain can read it from his lips.

Jeongguk mouthed back an, "I love you too." Adds a wink at the end, probably to piss off Taehyung, successfully.

It's not just Taehyung who is now cautious about everything and everyone. Jeongguk also walks around the campus on tiptoes. Two days ago he was able to prevent himself from getting soaked with water and today someone was using glue on his chair. Unfortunately, this time he was too focused on the book he was reading to notice. That's why the poor Alpha is still in the classroom when Taehyung comes in for his next lecture.

"Well, hello. Shouldn't you be in another room now?"

Jeongguk wants to knock the grin off his face, but he would have to get up and that is currently not possible. "Damn idiot, you know very well that I can't."

Taehyung sits down next to him with a grin. "What are you talking about? Just say you wanted to see me, it's perfectly fine if you missed me."

"This is the last thing I want. I would prefer if I never have to see your annoying face again." Jeongguk stares at him and releases pheromones that clearly tell the other to piss off. It's really not fair that his enemy is pretty handsome, but it's not something he can and will admit.

"Ouch." Taehyung dramatically covers his chest with a hand. "That hurt." Fakes a cry.

"Oh shut up, asshole." Jeongguk tries to get up from the chair and succeeds with a loud cracking noise. "You owe me new pants, Kim." He covers his bum with the bag and leaves the room in a hurry.

Taehyung can't hide the giggles. The younger Alpha is just too funny sometimes.

It's a day to forget for Jeongguk, Omegas drooling here and there from his exposed bum. Why did he think it was a good idea not to wear boxer shorts today?

As soon as Taehyung found out about it, he rushed to the basketball court. Unfortunately much too late, the captain was already wearing training clothes. At least his prank was a complete success.

It goes on like this for weeks, either Taehyung or Jeongguk trying to embarrass the other. Their friends Jimin, Namjoon, Hoseok, Yoongi and Seokjin can't take it anymore. It affects both teams badly. Some teammates are more than ready to help their captain, others are fed up with them too. The division is clearly noticeable.

"We have to get them to speak with each other." The five friends are now sitting in a café when Jimin decides to talk about the tiresome subject.

"Okay and what are you going to do?" Namjoon, his boyfriend, is curious. It's not that they haven't tried yet, asked the two to meet on neutral ground and maybe find a solution. Obviously it never worked.

Jimin bends over the table to get closer to his friends. He doesn't want anyone else to eavesdrop on them. "Listen, we're going to invite them to a party. So they have no choice but to talk."

"Hmm, okay. Let's try, but we shouldn't expect too much." Hoseok sighs. It sounds way too easy, but on the other hand, it's been a while since they last did something together.

The 'party' will take place on a weekend, it is already Friday, so Jimin and Namjoon ask the two always arguing guys to meet at Seokjin's tomorrow. Of course, the couple is not told that the other will also be present.

Saturday comes faster than expected. The seven boys are gathered in Seokjin's living room because he is the only one who has an apartment off campus.
