Quarantine sucks!

I mean, imagine having to stay at home 24/7, you can't go to work, you can't go to the gym, you can't even go out to meet your friends because all the possible places to hang out at are already closed to begin with, and you can't just go out to head to a friend's house because that's not considered an important cause that'd lead you to step foot outside of your house.

So the only option you have - in case you have no important reason to step out of the house for - is to stay home with nothing to do.

Which sucks big time!

But thank God that wasn't the case for me.

Well it was, for the few first months since my sister, Shaheen was quarantining with her boyfriend and my parents had been in Delhi when the news was out, so they were stuck there because all airports and highways were closed.

Which left me all alone at Shaheen's and mine.

The first few months sucked, I had literally nothing to do.

I watched TV, I read books, I finished a lot of series on Netflix, I even spent some time learning how to cook and making different dishes.

One of the only things that kept me sane and managed to draw a smile on my face is text messages and video calls.

It's not really the act that made me smile, but rather the person with whom I've been doing it with.

My only guy best friend.

My partner in crime.

My Vd.

Yes, my Vd.

I liked the idea of him being mine even if he actually wasn't.

Heck, I don't just like the idea of him being mine, I like him and I don't have the balls to tell him that.

I know he wasn't with anyone at the moment, but still, I was scared of losing him, so better have him as a friend that not having him at all.

But that's not the point, the point is that person is the one and only, Varun Dhawan.

Talking to him has been a daily habit of mine, since we hadn't been able to stay in touch on a daily basis in the past because of our schedules, now I can safely say that we've made up for those days.

We'd mostly just chat, but from time to time we'd talk on video call.

It's been really good, having him, even if not in the same house, but he's made those first two to three months of quarantine kinda easier.

Until one day, when I was talking to him and he had joked about what it would had been like if we were quarantining together and I actually considered the idea which led me to take it seriously and talk him through it just to finally convince him to come stay with me for how long he wanted.
