When time passes the past seems to be a distant memory forgotten, sadly this isn't true for one goddess in training. The past is always with her at least her past is. Being in Hell reminds her of what she has done to present herself there. She would never speak of it nor will she ever to anyone that doesn't matter to her. Such regrets don't exist to her only what she believes was right in her mind. This young goddess in training name is Banshee Negro; granddaughter to La Muerte and Xibalba the two rulers of the Land of the Dead. Yes, death and trials. Banshee didn't ask for this life, but here she is living with what she had done and being punished for such...all for a simple demon she cared for.
One day in Hell, Banshee was at her apartment keeping things organized with the many jobs she had. With being a co-owner and manager of I.M.P., part time singer at the Jazz Club, and volunteer work at the Happy Hotel, she had truly little time to reminisce about the past, sadly, she still remembers no matter how loud the afterlife screams were. She calls it a blessing as well because she didn't want to remember it at all. She wanted to move on and be at peace with it. Today was the day to volunteer at the hotel. Good, some time with Charlie and her friends would help ease some stress. Banshee got up and got ready for it. She dressed very professionally with this because she didn't want any patients distracted...again. Once she was done, she grabbed her briefcase and walked out with Shadow, her pet shapeshifting fox.
At the Hotel, it was a calm day of major repairs to get it ready. One would think the repairs would be done by now, but apparently Alastor was very picky on how things looked, and Charlie wanted some things exact opposite from him. One would think they were a married couple, but of course they weren't. Banshee was seeing Alastor and Charlie to Vaggie, so there was no possible way. Banshee had daydreamt that the two were together just for fun of course. Alastor was too much of a gentleman to cheat and Charlie loved Vaggie too much. This always calmed Banshee down when she remembered such things.
Her and Alastor's relationship wasn't a deep sexual one, which was good for both. She didn't want sex to rule her again. Romance was all she needed. She was unsure why Alastor chose her to be a partner due to his reputation of being... well non-sexual or romantic. She liked the way he was, and she was happy about it. Vaggie, of course, couldn't handle the fact of them being together. No one really knows why nor asked. It wasn't important, not even to Banshee. She had work to do to help get the paperwork in order.Later that day, Banshee was in an office getting the paperwork for everything. Angel wasn't happy he had to fill out some papers for the Hotel... again since his were lost. Paperwork was going to be the bitch of it all, lucky Banshee didn't mind it since it was her main job for both I.M.P. and here. It didn't take long for Angel to fill it out for her since Banshee knew most of the items that she needed for it. The doe demon finished putting his paperwork into her laptop starting on another...Vaggie's. She paused for a moment holding her head deciding to take a break looking out the window. It's not she didn't like Vaggie. She cared for her deeply but didn't tell anyone about it. This was part of her past that always comes back to haunt her. It hurt her head every time she thought about that day, the day of her vengeance and punishment. Never did a memory touched her more like this since it was family related.
She knew Vaggie from when she was alive in El Salvador, Vaggie not Banshee. Banshee was her guardian spirit as you can call her, to protect and guide Vaggie throughout her life. It was after Vaggie's mother died from abuse from her husband. It was a sad ending to a lovely woman who raised three boy's and one girl, trying her best to give them what she didn't have. Banshee knew all about this due to her connection with the Death Files in her grandparents' vault. Vaggie was the youngest out of all of children and her father wasn't very, well, respectful towards here even though she went to school and got good grades and worked part time as a cashier for her family in the day and at night...something worse. Her father made her go out to stand on the streets for it when she was old enough. Banshee was around for those moments and hated every minute of it, but she did protect Vaggie from those who wanted to take advantage of her. Some people even called her a witch because no one could see her touching anyone who tried. No one could see Banshee on Earth, so hence why it was hard for Vaggie with the name calling, abusive family, and loneliness.
Banshee did feel guilt making some things in her life so much more difficult than it needed to be. She just was trying to help Vaggie was all. Sadly, that wasn't the worse part of it. There was a time where Banshee had to leave Vaggie to fend for herself since she'll be an adult. When she did not only a year after Banshee left, Vaggie died and Banshee blamed herself for it. That was the day...Banshee immortal life changed. It was a deep secret she kept from everyone, even Alastor. To her it was just too hard to talk about to anyone. She wanted to tell Vaggie so bad, but Vaggie always kept her distance from Banshee. She didn't place the young moth demon; not one bit since that day.Suddenly a knock came at the door. The doe turned her head towards it then back to the window, "come in por favor." The door creaked opened as Vaggie walked in with more papers for her. She didn't say a word, but Banshee could see her reflection in the window. Should she talk to her about this? Would this be a wise choice? Shadow looked over at her worried nudging her leg trying to help her decide. Before Vaggie would walk out without a word, Banshee sighed clearing her throat, "Vaggie... stay por favor. I wish to talk to you..."
