I'm falling for you..(villain Shoto×hero Izuku)

The night air is too cold for me..

The sound of their voice was confirmation it was indeed Todoroki, and hearing them tell him to go made him just want to stop him. He doubted they were going to use their hit side, considering every time he had heard of the fight with the half and half user they preferred to use their ice side. Which in this case, if he didn’t use the left side of his quirk it would kill them, meaning that Izuku's attempt to save a life would have been a useless  risk of his own.
He could see they seem to be slowing slightly, Izuku thought it could be from cold, and his soaking clothes that was surely making things even colder for Shotou. His quirk didn’t have any elemental parts unlike the person he was chasing. So by now he was relying on just keeping his limbs moving so they didn’t have the time to go num or cold for long. “No ! I’m not leaving you out here so you can just freeze to death ! I didn’t want to save you just to see you take your life in a different manner ! Please I’m just trying to help !” He protested, hoping he would stop,or trip, something that would stop them for the few moments of them stopping for Izuku to catch up completely.

Shoto was breathing heavily as he ran, he was panicking, alot. But that didn't stop him from running as fast as he could away. Turning corners and trying to lose the hero close behind him. He was getting slower though, no matter how fast he tried to run he was slower than normal. The ice was slowly creeping up his body, he was freezing. If he had just used his quirks and nothing else he would have been fine but because he was soaked in cold water everything was going bad. Shoto got an idea, and even though he was freezing he shoot more ice and Izuku, freezing his feet and arms. He ran a couple more yards before his entire right side froze and he collapsed to the ground.

As much as he saw the other seem to be struggling with their pace, Izuku tried not to discharge them as harmless yet. His worry and careful thoughts were somewhat, rewarded when the villain shot another bit of ice at him, which he was able to use his quirk from with ease before them just fell to the ground not thirty feet away. Still intent on helping them, Midoriya hurried over and got on his knees to see what was wrong with them, he winced at the sight, almost the entirety of Shotou's right side was covered in ice. They wouldn’t last long like this.
Not caring if the other minded, since Izuku wasn’t going to let someone who was literally freezing to death tell him what to do, he carefully tried  pick them up for a moment, but his own quirk didn’t want to work with him due to his own fit of the cold and being tired. So instead, Izuku dropped completely so he was sitting on the ground before manoeuvring Todoroki so he could try to earn their right side with his own body heat. His phone, was lost in that river somewhere after the jump it disappeared, not like after being soaked it could have helped much, and Izuku didn’t think that leaving the villain alone would result in a good end. So he was forced to try and save Todoroki with himself.

Shoto had seen his right side freezing as another opportunity to die, that was until he saw Midoriya. He couldn't move that well at all and was close to passing out, shivering uncontrollably. But despite all that pain he was going through he didn't want the help. He mustered up the little strength he had and pushed the hero away using his left arm. "Go away, go home please just go. I dont need you're help. Please just leave me here." He said breathy, he was tired, really tired. He felt more ice coming across his body and onto his left side, his body started to give out. His eyes were getting heavy and within a couple minutes he passed, falling to the side as more ice started to encage the other side of his body. But he wasn't dead yet, he was still breathing but it was slowing down. What he had wanted to do was slowly starting to happen.

Some heros had heard about the villain Shoto being around, how he escaped into the night after falling off a bridge, but they were surprised to hear that Izuku had went to his rescue. A hero resuced a villain, it was insane to them. What they also knew is that Midoriya had to have done after the villain, so a search was launched. Helicopters were searching the ground from above while heros were asking civilians for information.

Izuku could see the cold was getting to them badly by now, but he didn’t know how to make them use their life side, they wanted to die, he didn’t want him to die. Even thought Shotou was practically teetering on deaths doorstep. From a small distance he heard people, ‘probably looking,’ he thought biting his tongue. “My house is only a few blocks away,” he mumbled under his breath, forcing himself to stand up, even without ice coating half of him Izuku was freezing, it wasn’t healthy to stay out in the cold for long, especially since the night was good and taking a ‘swim' hadn’t helped. He didn’t think Todoroki would make it, or better phrased, would be cared for correctly of he turned them in to many he other pros. People had been cheering when He jumped, so why would anyone care if he died on the way to a hospital?
“I need to get him to my place, I can deal with the backlash later.” By now he was mostly tired , tired, cold, still soaked. Not a great combination, but he still had strength, Todoroki was much worse off than him, and the half and half user was still alive, that gave Izuku some of the positivity he needed, if their body cold fight the cold, so could his. He would save them both.
By now the villain seem to be mostly asleep, passed out, the pattern of his breathing was slow, but steady for the most part. “I know you want to die, but I can’t let you die... Please,” he whispered, using only five percent of his quirk, it was the highest amount he felt would be easy to handle in his own position, and scooped up the unconscious Shotou. His strength was enough to hold the half and half user, now he just had to avoid the heroes, civilians, and media that was sure to show.
