"Kalifa, I'm gonna get you!"

Ahsoka Tano watched as her husband Lux Tano (formerly Lux Bonteri) played around in the grass with their daughters. She couldn't believe how peaceful this vacation was. For as long as the Gray Jedi could remember, she didn't need to worry about anything. Or so she led herself to believe. The Sith were still trying to start another war, but Ahsoka didn't want that to distract her from spending at least a little time with the people closest to her heart.

After another few minutes of playing around, Lux stopped tickling the girls and picked them up. They came over to Ahsoka, who sat on a picnic blanket with Ashla Tami, Ahsoka'a Padawan, eating some sandwiches. Ashla was like a third daughter to the Tano's, and Kalifa and Mina held on to her as though she was their older sister. The twins were only about two months old, but they were already playing as though they were four times their age. Tomorrow, they would all travel to Naboo to visit Ahsoka's adopted family, the Skywalkers.

---

"Ashla, do you know where my present for Ahsoka is?" Lux asked. Ashla was helping him pack Ahsoka's things for the trip to Naboo while she was taking care of the twins.

"I thought I saw it on your dresser while I was getting Ahsoka's robes. I don't see it there anymore, though." Lux sighed. He had bought the most beautiful necklace from the street vendors yesterday, but it wouldn't do him any good if he lost it.

"Ah, here it is!" Ashla said, picking the necklace out of a pile of clothes. She held up the silver chain with clouded white crystals. "Somehow, I think it looks even better than it did yesterday. Ahsoka's gonna love it." They finished packing their things and headed to the ship. Ahsoka was already waiting with Mina and Kalifa when Lux and Ashla arrived.

"What took you guys so long?" Ahsoka asked with a grin. Lux fidgeted with the small pouch that had his present for Ahsoka, while Ashla just grinned back. When the twins saw their dad, they started yelling and reaching towards him. Ahsoka laughed and handed both girls to Lux. As they boarded Lux's official Onderoneon ship, Mina began to pull on Lux's hair. She was more demanding than Kalifa.

"I can't wait to see Anakin and Padmé again," Ahsoka said with a laugh. "The girls are going to have so much fun with Luke and Leia."

"Yeah, they'll be able to bother someone else for a change. I think they think my hair is some kind of salad." Lux pulled Mina's orange and vanilla blotched hand out of his hair. He had set Kalifa on one of the soft cushioned chairs next to Ashla, who was now having her lekku carefully inspected by Kalifa's watchful eye.

Mina and Kalifa were an impressive sight for people that had never seen a human-togruta mixed person. Mina had orange and vanilla blotched skin, while Kalifa had a light orange skin tone as if her parents' colors had been perfectly blended. They both had jet black hair, just like their father. On their faces were striking white marks, where it was apparent that they came after their mother. The markings were still undeveloped; these continued to develop throughout the whole of a togruta's life, so it was still unclear what the markings would look like later.

---

After a couple of hours of uninterrupted travel, they arrived at Naboo. Ahsoka couldn't wait to see Anakin again, even though it had only been a couple of weeks.

"Here we are," Ashla said. "Master, are you ok?" She looked over at Ahsoka, who was gripping her head. Ashla could feel that Ahsoka was in pain, but she had no idea why.

"Ahsoka! What's wrong?" Lux asked.

"Ah, it's nothing. Just a headache." That was not the whole truth. Ahsoka had a terrible feeling that something was going to go wrong on Naboo, and that feeling came with the side-affect of horrible pain in her temple. She would have to talk to Anakin about it later, but now she just wanted to get down to the surface and relax.

Author's Note --Hey guys! I hope you liked the beginning of my first book ever! Let me know what you thought, and I am taking suggestions on what should happen next and later in the story. Tell me anything that you think was off or not accurate; I know I'm not a good writer. Thanks for reading, and MAY THE FORCE BE WITH YOU!

PS: Does anyone know how to make words bold and stuff like that? I couldn't find the option anywhere.
