Cameras flashed from all angles, journalists asked for short interviews, and fans screaming with joy. In my six years of experience I still haven't got the hang of everything that's happening during Philippine Artists End of the Year Awards or what they call PAEYA.
"Sapphire! One moment please." I smiled at the girl. "How are you? Do you think you'll have any awards tonight?"
I thoughtfully smiled at her again and looked at the camera. "Uhh, I'm not expecting any but I'm hoping." I laughed and she did to.
"Well, goodluck Ms. Sapphire."
"Thank you. Have a good night." I said and I ascend the stairs to the main entrance.
As I entered the massive building, extravagant decorations, subtle music, and my co-artist greeted me. Everyone I know was there.
"Tristoffer!" I called him and waved.
I saw him looked at my direction and instantly smiled when he saw me. "Hey Saph! You look exquisite." He said as he approached me.
I blushed at his compliment but I managed to shrug it of by nudging his shoulder. "You don't look too bad yourself."
Well that was a lie. How can I put it? He was the embodiment of perfection. He was kind, dashingly handsome and has a voice like the angles.
"What do you mean? I look rather ravishing, darling." There he goes with his British thingys.
I just tsked and looked away. I felt like my heart was about to be snatched away from my body if I continue to look at those green tantalizing eyes.
He started to talk and I just listened. Among the two of us I was kind of the quite one while he was the most social. That's maybe the reason why our fans are shipping us with each other, I'm not complaining though.
The event, I must say was rather boring and exciting at the same time. I never really paid attention to these kind of things. I just cheer and clapped whenever the performances are done.
"Are you nervous?" I heard Tristoffer whispered.
I looked at him and shook my head. "No. Why would I be?"
He let out a hearty laugh. "Nothing. We may receive an award tonight."
I raised a brow. "Really?"
He looked at me unbelievably. "You seriously didn't know? We were nominated."
My eyes go wide and I gasped. "Really?" I said just yo make sure and he nodded.
"And for Best Duo of the Year Awards goes to... Sapphire and Tristoffer!"
Holy shit! Our first award together! Omg, I can't believe it.

It's been two months since our first win! I still couldn't get over it. Tomorrow was valentines day but tonight Tristoffer and I have a show.
"They don't know about the things we do." I sang while looking at him. I saw him chuckled.
He looked at me briefly and back at the crowd. "They don't know about I love you." The crowed roared upon hearing his angelic voice.
"Good work, Tris." I complimented him when we finished the show.
"Don't flatter me too much, Saph." He let out a hearty laugh and so did I.
I gathered my things and turned to him. "See you." I said and started to exit the room.
"Saph wait." He suddenly called me so I turned back to him.
