"Woah, what is this place? Seems familiar... Must be my imagination." Sonic walked forward a couple steps then found lava with a moving platform. "What the heck is this? Will this kill me or something?" Sonic stepped in the pit, losing this 3 rings. "Owww. That's really hot! Shouldn't have done that. What's that thing?" There was a purple caterpillar badnic slowly inching its way towards Sonic. "What is that?" Sonic jumped on the head of the caterpillar. It popped and a little flicky was flying away from the scene. "Huh. Not so bad..."

"Okay! Okay! This is REALLY bad!!!" Sonic screamed while running, trying to put out the fire on his tail. He rolled on the grass a couple times, putting out the fire. The hedgehog noticed that a yellow energy ball was headed his way. "Woah! What the heck was that?" He said as he barely dodged the attack. "Not you again. I'll spindash you!" Sonic tried to spindash, but he only jumped. "Oh, yeah. No spindash...." Sonic felt something hit his back and made him drop his 5 rings. It was the caterpillar again. "Oh, fuck you, man!" The worst thing was, Sonic fell in a lava pit. "Oww, oww, OWW, OWW,OWWW!!!" He screamed again.

"I....gotta....pass.....the.....sign......" Sonic was a burnt hedgehog. He was crawling on the ground. Eventually he passed the sign. It took him 20 minutes just to finish that one act. He slowly got up and walked along the grassy trail.
