He swore that if his phone starts ringing one more time, he won't hesitate to let it fly across the room. It was around seven in the morning and Soobin had no choice but to wake up and start his day, annoyed.
No one wants to wake up early during holidays, especially when school did it five times a week. But he has to, since it's getting closer and closer each day to the day every child was waiting for since the start of the year. Christmas is a season one would love to celebrate every month. The problem with this thought is how special and precious Christmas are. It wouldn't be so special if it turned to every month routine you know? Banks would crash and wallets would be constantly empty from all the gifts money is spend on.
Thank god it repeats only once a year, it's enough. It would be the biggest problem for the lazy guy, who isn't able to stand up from his bed if he doesn't stay asleep ten minutes longer. He doesn't have any Christmas gifts, no sweets and forget about the tree itself. Maybe around ten days until Christmas Eve and he isn't even bothered. Who would force an endeavour, if one doesn't have a motivation? Maybe if something cheered him up, lit up the Christmas soul inside him, then he might try harder than ever.
But for now, he was not so willingly getting ready for shopping with Beomgyu, who agreed on helping him this time. What a wonderful soul, may everything positive bless him. If it weren't for Beomgyu, Soobin would probably rush to malls a day before Christmas Eve. Now that he has company, he can comfortably walk around the shops with a clean conscience.

As Soobin dressed himself and calmly strode around his living room, he once stepped aside a huge window and closely observed the glory happening outside. Tips of his cool fingers rested on surface of the glass, as he wanted to observe in more detail. It's snowing since morning, which means more fight with the snow, but he has to admit it's definitely worth watching. A town full of buildings sprinkled with a decent layer of snow, string lights shining, visible even from such distance as Soobin's apartment window, and happy children chasing each other, their laughter echoing in the narrow streets. Not to mention how streetlights were decorated with evergreens and mistletoes.
Just because Christmas season isn't in his favourites, doesn't mean he doesn't favour the atmosphere right?
Soon enough he received a text message from someone. His phone buzzed on the table, slightly moved from it's formal place and before it could damage itself he picked it up. The screen blinded his eyesight, regretting that he set the background with a bright image. The message was from Beomgyu.
-🐻10:30 you, me, at the entrance
Soobin softly chuckled and processed the information. It may seem like Beomgyu gave him indirect navigation, but Soobin knows exactly what he meant. They visit this place more than often when they have leisure time, and it's probably the only mall they visit. A new one meant confusion and stress, cue stuff they wanted to avoid.
Before Soobin could do a step further, his digital clock chimed the tenth hour, reminding the boy he has to hurry in order to make it on time. And just because his anxiety could get worse, he tried his best not to lose anything while grabbing important stuff he needed for shopping with his beloved friend.

As time passed by, bigger and bigger crowds of people clogged the entrance, all impatient and hurried to get what they wanted. It was half past ten yet people were tearing each other to make sure the items they wanted aren't sold out.
