PLATFORM ONE
TW: MENTIONS OF S**IC!DE
Holly hated the idea of picking up her sister from the London Underground. It wasn’t ideal at all, but as she didn’t know her way around, Holly had to help her sister.
Although, when she had headed to the train platforms earlier, she was in no way planning to stop someone from leaving the world. She wasn’t expecting to even see anyone, after all it was around midnight.
And she definitely didn’t expect to meet him.
He was a tall man. He had a head of curly brown hair that moved with the wind produced by the force of the trains.
He was attractive. Oh man, he was attractive.
And Holly in no way could let him leave, even though they had only just met each other, if she let him leave it wouldn’t sit right in her conscience.
So, she stopped him and introduced herself.
Wilbur. Wilbur Soot. Very fitting name for him, although she couldn't explain why. He just looked like a Wilbur.
And no matter how much Holly didn’t want to, she had to leave him. Her sister started calling and she couldn’t hold her up for any longer. Instinctively, Holly handed Wilbur her phone and insisted that he entered his number into one of the contacts.
And he did. He did it with hardly any hesitation.
And with that, Holly ran off, on the phone with her sister while she dwelled on what had just happened.

Wilbur stood with his jaw dropped slightly. He couldn’t believe what had just happened.
Some random, absolutely gorgeous girl, had just stopped him. She told him to not leave. She stopped him from stepping off.
She had told him her name.
Holly. Holly Richardson. Very fitting name for her, although he couldn’t explain why. She just looked like a Holly.
Wilbur watched on as she ran off, shouting down the phone as she left the platform.
He watched as her hair blew around from her running yet, also from the force from the trains. He watched her push the brown strands away from the eyes after they obscured her vision, the gloves she was wearing pushing the fly aways behind her ears.
He watched on, completely amazed as she whipped her head round trying to spot out her sister, who was the person she was on the phone to.
He had heard her call her sister “Salmon”. Odd nickname, but he assumed it came from the name Sally.
Well, that’s at least what he had thought.
But Wilbur looked at what had could’ve been his last place alive and just thought.
Holly Richardson could have just been his saving grace. She could had just done nothing about it, but she had the heart to stop him. Maybe she would keep him hanging on for just a bit longer.
Maybe...
Just maybe.
