Sonic POV:

I may be stubborn and a jerk somethings I'll admit that! But I ain't no butt! I know when someone acts weird, Tails haven't really been looking at me or saying hi, usually when we are passing by anyone we know, we would say hi, and that's it, but Tails lately hasn't, he would pass by be, I would say hi and he would just look down at the ground and wave, nothing else, I mean I'm not expecting much, but he hasn't talked much, even though he knew answers to questions at class, he wouldn't raise his hand, before, he raised his hand at every question, even the impossible ones like 19 x y = 40 {740/749}x - 103= ??? and so forth!

It's been a while and now we're in Senior year, close to graduation. I was walking near Tails' room when I heard soft whispers

Tails: Calm down Tails, you knew that this would happen on day, he wouldn't always be there for you

I was curious, what's he talking about?

Tails: You can't have their friendship forever, you just have to let them go, like they did with me.... ugh! What am I even doing?! Right now school is out priority

I thought about what he said, and I remembered, I'll try to make this as nice as possible, but the best way I can say this is, he has no one else to turn to. I'M SORRY IF IT SOUNDS MEAN OK?! But anyways, I remembered how the kid was when I first met him, he was afraid of that I would make fun of him.

I knew from that moment, I made a huge mistake!

~Nest Day~

I woke up and went to get something to eat, to only notice that Tails wasn't awake, he's usually awake around five am! I went to his room and saw that he was still asleep, I sighed in relief knowing that nothing bad happened, but then I noticed the tear stars and the small bags under his eyes, had he cried himself to sleep?

I saw a journal on his desk at the end of his room, I knew it was rude to invade others privacy, but your not in trouble if you don't get caught right?

I looked and flipped to a random page, I ain't going to read the entire journal! That's when I came across a page made in Junior year:

March 14 11:29 pm,

Hey Journal,

It's Junior year for Sonic and I, Sophomore for Amy and Cream.... and things haven't been going well. We haven't really kept in touch, everyone has been way to busy for any of us to call or send a message to, what about Sonic, Amy and Cream? We haven't talked either, I'm honestly scared, I don't want to loose my friendship with anyone, but school has kept us so busy that even though we're roommates, we are either just too busy or way to tired to do anything else! I'll tell you this, high school is harsh, out of every mission I have ever been on, this may be, the most challenging mission yet. I just hope that we quietly break things off, they're my best friends....... I have no idea what I'll do without them. I know it may sound selfish, but before them, I had no one, no parents, no purpose, nothing to go back to... but I can't force them to be my friends forever... let's just see how things turn out......

I was shocked at this, I turned to the kid who was still asleep, luckily it was Wednesday, which meant that we didn't have school today so that we can study or catch up with stuff, or just take a break. Usually on these days, Tails and I study for the next big test, which now, it's the final exam before he and I graduate, but I ain't going to study today! I got better plans

Third POV:

Tails was in his room studying, he didn't want to fail the exam that was on Thursday and Friday, he knew well that this will effect his future, so he planed to study non stop until he ran out of things to study about, or he ends up falling asleep, or it time for bed. He then heard a knocking at his door, Tails looked over and saw non other than Sonic!
