They were laughing.Smiling. They looked happy. byakuya wasn't. he wasn't laughing. He wasn't smiling. He wasn't happy. He was angry. heartbroken. Disappointed that he had never told the girl with black drills how he felt before she did. He could feel the tears build up in the back of his throat. He couldn't cry. Crying is weak. Crying is pathetic.

'Why did she have to choose detective gadget over me' he always thought as he saw them. 'How was she better? She must really be something if she could beat me'

He looked up and down from the pages of his book to the couple. He tched when a heavy European accent flooded towards him asking him if he was okay. A more monotone voice followed asking if he wanted to join them.

The simple answer: he didnt. Why would be want to join the girl that stole the heart of the only person that has ever made him feel safe. The only person he would say he ever loved..

Without a word he rose from his seat, pushing it it under the table and he put his book into his bag.

'Emotions are disgusting weak', the blonde would always say.. But he couldnt help but feel them whenever he was with her.

"I hope you two are happy together" Byakuya finally said coldly as his hand touched the door handle. He wanted this to all be a bad dream. But it wasn't.. He wasn't waking up from it. "Byakuya? whats wrong?" Celestia asked and tilted her head.. he was acting weird
