The Feather...

Chapter 3

Rex's POV
That girl yesterday was the prettiest girl I've ever seen. The feather, it led me to her. I have to know who she is. But I've never seen her here before, she must be a transfer student. I bet I know who keeps track of all the students here...

I go to some random classroom and see just the guy I'm looking for.
"You want what?" Billy asks

"I need a copy of all the girls' profiles from this school year."

"But why dude? C'mon, you can tell me. I'm your best pal"

*sigh* " 'kay, you win. You see yesterday, a lot of students were swarming me, well mostly girls and I needed a break so I looked around and went to the garden behind the school then after a while, a bird flew by and dropped a feather and led me to... Her"

Billy looked confused.
"Her? I don't get it?"

"I don't really know her since she's a transfer student so... Yeah"

Billy hands me a folder of all the female transfer students' profiles and I scan the folder as fast as I can so that I can find her as soon as possible. After looking through a few pages, I was just about to give up but then I see the same pretty face I saw at the garden. It's her!! Ahh.. Lily Evergreen, what a pretty name.

I gave back the folder and I looked all around the school looking for Lily but I couldn't find her *gasp* the garden! I have to go there! I have to see her again! But my friends won't like her since she's not like me.. Still, I have to see her!! I go to the garden to where we met.

Lily's POV
After classes I see Rex and he looks like he's looking for something... I see Jennica and we talk about what happened at the garden yesterday. I tell her that I have to go and then I realize that the feather was in my pocket and as I hold it, the wind blows it away. But I didn't want to lose it so I followed it and it led me to the spot in the garden where we met.

As Lily followed the feather, and Rex going to the same place. Then they meet at the same place and they both had to introduce each other.
"Hi. I'm Lily."

"I'm Rex. I know you, we met yesterday right?"

"Yeah. What are you doing here?"

"Uh...I'm...looking for my... friend, you?" Rex hesitates

"I'm... Uh... Just following where this feather takes me" Lily says nervously
They both were a bit nervous since they like each other. But the problem is they don't know that they do.. Then later that day, they couldn't stop thinking about each other, hoping that they would meet again...
