The Nerd and the Queenka

Chapter One: Pilot

Waking up in the morning is like the worst thing mankind has ever created. To make it worst, I have to wake up for school.

"Jesse Jung get your lazy butt out of your bed and get ready for school!" A voice yelled. It was my Omma.

Even if she yelled at me, I wouldn't budge in bed.

The sound of the door opening and closing could be heard, but I didn't care less. I just want some sleep.

"Jesse oppa! If you don't get up now, I will make you eat cucumbers for the rest of the week!" Krystal, my little sister, said.

Hearing the words 'cucumber' and 'eat', I immediately run went to the bathroom and took a shower.

Ten minutes later, I went out and see that Krystal is still in my room. She is already wearing her uniform; a white button up shirt, a blue and dark blue tie, a blazer with white outlining, and a skirt (the look she had in The Heirs).

"Morning oppa!" She greeted me brightly.

"Morning Soojung!"(that's her Korean name).

Krystal is my one and only little sister and I would hate myself if something bad happens to her. I just want to protect her as if she was the only person alive.

"Oppa you look tired, more than usual. Did you get enough sleep last night?" She asked worriedly.

"I'm fine. I was just studying late last night." I yawned while saying that.

"Again? When are you not going to study? Exams are over and you always study. Lighten up and have some fun!" Krystal said.

I just ignore what she said and change into my uniform. I don't mind if Krystal is in the room. We're both siblings so.

"And why are you always wearing those glasses? You don't have terrible eyesight. And your uniform looks too neat if I must say. You always look so nerdy. If you remove those glasses and style up your uniform a bit, you'll look handsome!" She continued blabbering on about my appearance and what not.

"Soojung-ah, I know you're trying to help, but this is what I dress like. It looks nerdy because I am a nerd. This is really who I am." I said.

She sighed. "I'm just saying oppa. I mean you are really handsome. Like your more handsome than all the guys in school! But when you dress like that, it seems that you're not." She said truthfully.

"Well thanks for the compliments, but this how I dress. I don't hate nor do I like it. This is who I am."

"Alright. I can't control can't I? If this is what you want then fine. Well, I'm going to get some food. Let's go?" She asked.
