Diana walked behind her mother. She had just turned 11 June 21st.
That meant she was going to Hogwarts.
Diana's brother and Father stood in front of her next to her mother as they walked to the platform of 9 3/4.
"Diana don't slouch." Her mother scolded as Diana's shoulders grew tired.
"Yes mother." Diana replied obediently.
She had solid white hair, that was extremely curly but it was straightened as it had been her entire life and was therefore shoulder length and tucked behind her ears perfectly.
The siblings walked through the barrier, their parents leaving them there.
They walked past the Weasley family, who also included Harry Potter and Hermione Granger. Oliver Wood was standing next to Percy, also engaged in conversation with Arthur Weasley about quidditch.
Harry watched Draco and Diana walk by, both held their head high with perfect posture and all around everything about them on the outside was perfect.
"Who's that with Malfoy?" Harry asked Oliver nudging him catching the attention of them all.
To Harry, Diana seemed to walk in slow motion.
"Bad news." Ginny spoke to Harry for the first time basically all summer.
"Diana Malfoy. Draco's sister." Oliver said knowingly.
"She's exceptional at quidditch despite being a first year, although she's ruthless, Flint wouldn't stop going on about her last year during matches. She's literal perfection on the outside, but there's no heart to match it. It's blackened." Oliver explained.
"How does Flint know her?" Harry asked confused.
Draco lead his little sister to the Slytherin quidditch team.
"That's how." Oliver said as Marcus Flint grabbed Diana's hand and kissed it lightly.
She raised her eyebrows, unimpressed.
"They're dating?" Harry asked.
"If Marcus doesn't marry within 2 years after he and I graduate, then they'll be betrothed." Oliver explained once more.
"Betrothed?" Harry asked.
"An arranged marriage Harry." Ginny explained this time.
"But who would ever force their children to marry someone they don't love?" Harry asked.
"The Malfoy's don't raise children, they raise baby's to be grown ups and take care of themselves." Molly Weasley explained.
Diana felt them looking at her.
She turned her head ever so slightly to look at them.
Her eyes met his.
His bright green ones met her royal blue ones.
Hers narrowed slightly and travelled up his forehead and landed on his scar.
She raised her eyebrows perfectly in acknowledgement of Harry then turned back to Marcus.
Her eyes seemed to gloss over when she met Harry's eyes.
Harry was snapped out of it by Ginny hugging her parents.
Diana straightened her shirt and looked up at Marcus."So Diana, you're going to be in 2nd year classes?" He asked.
"Yes, except for Charms. I'm in 3rd year for that." She replied smiling up at him.
"Interesting, so do you think Dumbledore will let you play quidditch? Now that you're at Hogwarts?" He asked.
"I hope so." She replied.
"Well you'll be my first choice when you get into Slytherin, if you're allowed to tryout." Marcus said and she smiled and nodded gratefully.
"Come on let's get you a seat in the best compartment." Marcus said putting his hand on the small of her back and leading her to the train.
Diana looked back at Harry when she stepped onto the train.
Harry glared remembering that she was a Malfoy.
She rolled her eyes and smiled at Marcus who held his hand out for her to grab.
She followed him into the train down to the compartment in the dead center of the train.
Marcus made her sit next to him.
Diana was put into Slytherin, like expected.
She and Harry never got along, like expected.
They argued back and forth for the rest of the year, and two more.
It wasn't until Harry's 4th year when they were partnered together in potions.
