When I see Him

The First Day of Hogwarts

A/n~This is going to start on the first day of Hogwarts and the next chapter with be year 2. I might not do all the years.~

Y/n Pov:
It was the day that Hogwarts starts. I packed all of my stuff the day before. I was getting dressed when all of a sudden my little sister screamed. As I ran into her room my parents followed. "Rachel what's wrong what happened? Are you okay?" I said with a worried look on my face. "No! Why else would I scream. There's a snake in my room y/n." She replied. As I looked next to her bed there it was a giant snake. "Mum come and look at this" I said looking at the ginormous snake lying on the floor. "OMG! What the hell is that thing" My mum said as she looked at the snake. "Honey come here and take that thing outside" My mum said to my dad "Okay I'm coming" My dad replied tiredly "Rachel how did that thing get in here?" I said worried" "I don't know I just woke up and it was right there y/n" My sister replied still scared "Okay it's fine now Rachel dad's taking it outside there's no need to be worried now I have to go get dressed" After I got dressed I rushed down for breakfast. It was bacon, eggs, tomatoes, mushrooms, toast with butter, sausages, and beans with tea for me and my sister and coffee for my parents. I quickly ate breakfast and got all my stuff to go to the King Cross Station. Once we got there I went to the 9 3/4 platform and waved goodbye once the train got there. I went into an empty compartment and sat alone until a boy about my age came and sat with me. "Hey who are you" I said "I'm Cedric Diggory it's my first year and I had no where else to go I can go if u want." He said smirking "No stay, nice to meet u I'm y/n Richardson it's my first year too" I said to the nice boy "What house do u think your going to be in y/n" He smiled "Well to be honest Cedric I'm hoping to be in Hufflepuff like the rest of my family" "Me too I've always dreamed of being a Hufflepuff hopefully were in the same house" "Yeah" I replied "We should make a promise to each other that we'll always be best friends no matter what happens y/n" he said smiling "Alright Cedric I promise to be best friends with you no matter what" I said happily that I made my first friend "And I promise to be best friends with you y/n no matter what" We talked about Hogwarts and quidditch the rest of the way to Hogwarts. When we arrived I saw a beautiful building that looked like a castle. We went inside to be sorted. Once the sorting started it took a little while for them to call my name. "Y/n Richardson!" I went up and they placed the sorting hat on my head and it took a little while but then the sorting hat finally yelled. "HUFFLEPUFF" I was so happy. I walked to the Hufflepuff table and sat down. "Cedric Diggory!" He proudly walked up there. "HUFFLEPUFF" OMG he's in Hufflepuff were in the same house he came over and sat next to me. "Cedric were in the same house can u believe it" I said shocked. "I know right y/n it's crazy" The sorting took forever. Everyone just got done being sorted and it was time for dinner now and the feast had begun. It was a lot of food me and Cedric ate enough food to feed a whole family. The feast had ended and everyone went to there dorms to unpack. We went into the Hufflepuff common room. The girls went to the girls dorm and the boys went to the boys dorm. There was a lot of older girls in the dorm. I couldn't find anyone that looked my age.

Cedric Pov:
The feast had just ended and I was in the boys dorms. Y/n is the first friend I made in Hogwarts. I walked out to the Hufflepuff common room and there  y/n was sitting on the couch I went and sat next to her. "So Cedric have u made any new friends" "No y/n have you" I replied "No none of the girls in the girls dorm look my age they all look older than me" she said sadly "At least you have me y/n" I replied happily "Yeah at least I have one friend" she replied "At least I have one amazing friend" he replied. I got up and walked away to the boys dorm and y/n stayed on the couch. I got ready for bed and walked out to the common room and y/n was still on the couch. "Goodnight y/n" "Goodnight Cedric have a good night" she replied.   Y/n got up and walked to the girls dorm. I sat on the couch for a little before I went back to the boys dorm. Once I got to the boys dorms I layed in bed for a while thinking about y/n. She had beautiful e/c eyes. She was amazing and beautiful.

Y/n Pov:
Once I got back to the girls dorm I layed in bed thinking about Cedric. He was an amazing person and I couldn't stop thinking about him. I walked out to the common room and Cedric was sitting on the couch I went and sat beside him. "Hey Cedric I thought you were going to bed" "I couldn't sleep y/n" he replied "Neither could I" I replied tiredly. I put my head on his shoulder and soon after that I fell asleep.

Cedric Pov:
Y/n fell asleep on my shoulder and I didn't want to wake her. Y/n looked so cute when she slept. I eventually fell asleep too. When I woke up y/n was still sleeping I still didn't want to wake her. We still had a while before we had to go to breakfast. I sat on the couch thinking abt y/n. An hour or so passed and I woke y/n up. "Sorry Cedric I was just so tired what time is it" I said as I just woke up. "Don't worry about it y/n and we still have about an hour before breakfast" I replied. Her head was still on my shoulder. She took her head off my shoulder and stretched. "I'm gonna go get dressed y/n I'll see u at breakfast" I said getting up "Alright see ya later Cedric" she replied. I got up and walked to the boys dorm to take a shower.

Y/n Pov:
I got off the couch and went to the girls dorms to take a shower. I was so embarrassed that I fell asleep on Cedric's shoulder. But I couldn't worry about that because today was my first day of school at Hogwarts. When I got out of the shower I dried my hair and put on my uniform. When I went into the common room Cedric was sitting on the couch and he looked really good in his uniform. "Hey Cedric you ready to go to breakfast" I said as I sat next to him "Yeah let's go" He said as we got up. We walked to breakfast together and went to the Hufflepuff table and sat next to each other. We ate breakfast and then went to our first couple classes. We went to lunch and ate lunch I didn't eat a lot because I ate a lot at breakfast. But Cedric ate more than what he ate at breakfast. After lunch we went to our last few classes. Then me and Cedric went to the Hufflepuff common room and we sat on the couch until dinner. "How were your classes Cedric" I said "Good what about yours y/n." He replied. "Good" I replied. We sat there and talked about Hogwarts and other stuff for a while.
Then me and Cedric walked to dinner. We sat next to each other. Cedric ate a lot of food I mostly just watched him eat until he noticed that I was watching him. After dinner we headed back to the Hufflepuff common room. Cedric and I sat on the couch and talked. Then we went to bed in our dorms.
