Hi, everyone, and welcome to Clover Hawkings and the Rise of the Phoenix!
First off, this is a sequel to Clover Hawkings and the Triwizard Tournament, so if you haven't read it, go do that and come back! You probably won't understand the story if you haven't read that one. Also, I realized five years after I first started Clover that I got the dates wrong... Clover takes place over the 1994 - 1995 school year (thank you Harry Potter Lexicon Timeline for helping me realize I was two years off). So, the annual date may be slightly different for this story- that reflects an error in my original math, not a change in the pacing of the story.
Second- a note (and apology) about updating. I finished Clover Hawkings and the Triwizard Tournament in August 2020, and since then I've edited, deleted, rewritten, and otherwise fumbled around with this sequel many times. I hope to finish writing Rise of the Phoenix before summer/fall 2024, but considering my track record it's entirely possible that won't happen. In short: expect updates, but irregularly.
Last thing! I do plan on this being a trilogy, so not everything will be wrapped up at the end of this book. Also, I appreciate any and all (kind 😅) feedback! Hearing from you makes my day :)
