Naruto's POV
I walk to the spot team 7 usual meets up at, as I'm walking there I spot sasuke and I ran up to him "hey! Sasuke!" I yelled as I ran next to him. "What is it dobe" he responds "I'm not a dobe!!" I pout and look away from him. "Hn" was the only response I got from him. Well, what did I expect, I mean I AM talking to sasuke here. I then remembered why I ran up to him in the first place
"Hey sasuke, have you ever had that weird feeling where it feels like your heart is skipping a beat and you feeling like you're going crazy..?" I asked pretty nervous on what his response will be. I turn my head to look at him and he looks like he's, blushing? "Hn, it means you're in love, dobe" I can't believe what I'm hearing! In love!? But, it's just a normal milk carton.. "are you sure I'm in love? Cant there be another explanation?" I asked laughing nervously.
"There's no other explanation for that, heart skipping a beat, feeling like you're g-going crazy, that's love dumbass.." he responds looking the opposite direction. I think I see a faint blush on his cheeks but I won't bother with it. I laugh nervously again "that's a funny joke sasuke! But seriously. What's the feeling supposed to be?" I ask again. I don't want to believe it's love. "You're so dumb Naruto, it's love. If you don't believe me then fine." He responded walking ahead.
We finally made it to the meeting spot and we sat there, waiting for I don't know 20 mins now? It felt like forever! Kakashi sensei finally came and made up some lame excuse for being late, as always. Anyways we get on with our rank D mission, sasuke seems more distracted today for some reason, I wonder why. Tho I am also really distracted too, I can't stop thinking about the milk carton. It took over my brain, it's all I see. I start to blush just at the thought of the milk carton. 'am I really in love with it..?' I asked myself.
We finally finish our mission and we all parted ways, well except for me and sasuke. Sasuke walks up to me and looks in the opposite direction "d-dobe, who's the person you love.." he asked but it was so quiet I could barely hear him. "What was that?" I asked to make sure I heard him correctly. "I asked who you were in l-love with" he asked again blushing. Me being me I kinda panicked "THATS N-NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS T-TEME!!" I yelled running off leaving sasuke behind. Honestly I can't tell him I'm in love with a milk carton. He'll probably make fun of me for the rest of my life or maybe tell the others!
I finally made it home after running non stop, I unlocked my door and slammed it shut. I ran over the the special milk carton and picked it up. 'I can't be in love with this!' but just as I thought that, the feeling came back. I was blushing like crazy. This can't be real. I fell to my knees feeling helpless looking at the carton.
That damned milk carton.
