Till Death Do Us Part

Tears stream down my face as I walk down the aisle, staring at the love of my life. I smile big at him while he wipes the tears from his face and his best friend, Ray, pats his shoulder with a big ass smile.

We don't break eye contact the whole time, as if we're the only ones here. And baby he makes me feel like I'm the most beautiful woman in the world, always have. As I get closer, his smile gets bigger.

"I love you", my dad kisses my forehead and smiles "I love you too daddy". "Take care of her", he tells my soon to be husband "with my life",  Chris responds but doesn't take his eyes off mine.

"Yessss sirrrrr", Drew claps, causing the church to erupt in laughter and cheers. We laugh and grab hands so he can help me up the platform.

I have the man of my dreams.

I pass my bouquet to Kay and turn back to him. "WHEW", he shakes his head with a big ass smile as tears begin to fall again. "Thank you baby. You are so handsome", "gimme kiss", I grab his face and peck his lips as G, his grandmother and our wedding officiant, clears her throat "alright now", she warns causing us to laugh.

"We apologize G, I need to work on my self control", Chris apologizes then looks back at me with a smile.

"The couple have prepared their own vows. Harmonie", she nods at me. I turn back to Chris and look into his eyes. "Cheesin tail self" he says only for us causing us to chuckle.

I take a deep breath in and release it beginning my words.

"I knew I was going to marry you when we talked in the bathroom on my very 1st birthday trip", I say causing him to smirk and raise an eyebrow. "Yep, sure did", I smile "from the very first conversation we had I knew you were suppose to be in my life someway and I was hoping it would turn into this. You are the most strong, intelligent, and loving man I've ever met. Through everything there was not a time you did not show up, for any of us. The love you continue to pour into me is the most beautiful thing", my voice cracks as my tears escape my eyes.

"Breathe baby", he wears his beautiful ass smile "you have me beaming with joy and bliss. Thank you for showing me what unconditional is, thank you for trusting me with your heart. You are my very bestfriend", I say and Kay clears her throat causing everyone to laugh.

"My twin flame, who's helped me evolve into a wiser and more confident woman. I have learned something from you everyday regardless if it was something about life, something about me, or something about you. I promise to love you more every single day, when you feel as if the world is against you, when you feel like you're on the top of it, when you're sick, and when you're as healthy as a horse", we chuckle at our insider.

"I promise to always listen to you, support you, encourage you, and be ten toes down behind every move. I promise to give you back more of every single thing you give me. Today is not only the day we start our lives as a union but the day I commit my all to you until death do us part. You stuck here", I emphasize the end causing everyone to chuckle "us and the world. I love you forever Christian", I finally finish.

"I love you too", I say as I wipe her tears with my thumbs. "Christian", G nods toward me causing me to hold her hands again.

"Harmonie Janelle Robertson", "last time you'll hear that name", I hear Kels whisper. "The most beautiful woman I've ever met, inside and out. Your timing of coming into my life was perfect. The time I needed you the most. It's been 7 longgg years", I shake my head with a smirk causing her and all of our close friends and family to laugh. "We been through a lot of situations but I would always pick to come back to you every time. The day I took you home, was the day I knew that you're it for me. The perfect woman for me. You have learned and love every side of me there is. You always say I take care of you but all honesty, you take care of me. Gave me the best gift I could ever receive, our daughter. And you can brighten my whole day with just one smile. You deserve the world and more, and I'm going to be the only man to give that to you. I promise to treat and cherish you like the Goddess you are, to protect our family, and to always be there for y'all. There will never be a day that you will have to question anything, I will always make sure you feel loved, happy, satisfied, and assured of your place in my heart, life, and family.
