Regret and Guilt

{Chapter 6: Regret and Guilt}

Louis's point of view

"Louis, what did you do?" Liam asked for the fourth time, I buried my face in my pillow and cried "I..I kissed a fan..and August was so upset" I cried, I liked August very much..heck I might even love her, but to please a fan I messed up big time.

The boys sighed "i'm sorry Lou, if you need anything you know where to find us" Niall said, as they walked out of my room gently shutting the door behind them.

I cried and cried until I couldn't try anymore, what had I done? I had to fix this.

Quickly I got up and hurried out the door, it was already midnight but I didn't care how cold it was or how late it was, I had to fix was I had destroyed.

Once I finally made it to August's and Emily's flat I took a deep breath and knocked on the door. a couple minutes later the door opened to reveal just who I was looking for..August.

Her hair was all over the place in a very messy poney tail, she was wearing light blue pyjamas and her eyes were droopy and tired.

Her face was a rosey red from sleeping and she was barefoot, her sleepy eyes trailed up at me, then she started to close the door.

"Go away Louis" she grumbled. I held the door open and shook my head "I'm sorry August, I didn't mean to hurt you" I cried. She sighed "Look Louis, I really don't-" she started.

I shook my head and wrapped my arms around her waist, crashing my lips to hers. She stood there frozen but I let her take her time until she kissed me back.

I could have sworn I felt a small spark when she kissed me back, my heart skipped a beat. August gently pulled away and smiled tiredly "I forgive you" she whispered.

I smiled and rested my forehead against hers and we stood there, in the hallway, I felt like time froze and it was just us moving. That was until August started to fall asleep in my arms.

I gently woke her up and she kissed my cheek "Goodnight" she yawned, walking inside and shutting the door behind her softly.

I sighed dreamily and walked back home with a big smile on my face, I was glad i fixed things with August. I was proud of myself.
