CHAPTER 2

{MORNING- mount Ebott}

"....you up red?"

"Been for 15 minutes sleepyhead"

"Heh. How was your sleep? Have any dreams?"

"Not that I remember. What about you?" 

"Nope. I love to sleep, but it can be so boring"

"Right? The worst part is when you're tired all day but can't sleep at night"

"I feel you man"

Me and sans kinda just talked for the last 30 minutes about sleep and weird dreams we've had. Then, the topic of the underground came up and he was talking about the ruins then about the humans that had fallen and had their souls taken.

"Wait, so they survive the fall?"

"Yeah- waIT"

"Can I?"

"Sweetheart I swear-"

"Please?! We'll be able to see each other!"

"You could die!"

"The others didn't!"

"Yeah but- but.."

"But??

"Uhg....fine. I'll teleport to the ruins and teleport you out. Just- just be careful kid.."

"Uh, sure! Welp, if I die my first goal will be achieved, I've I live I get to see you"

"Before you jump, let me just tell you. The underground isn't the most forgiving place.... you can't leave my side unless I tell you too, ok?"

"Ok red"

"Sans"

"Hmm?"

"My name is sans"

"Isn't that a font?" I giggle at that

"W-whatever..."

"Well, I'll see you later maybe!"

"....yep.."

I honestly wasn't nervous in the slightest. So what if I die? I get to see mom and forget about my life. If I live, I get to see sans. Win-win either way.

I grab my flower crown and decided before I go I'll make one for sans. I wonder what he'll look like. He's a monster, so maybe like a ghost or a zombie? Maybe a skeleton? You know, cliche monster things.

I get up and start hiking up the mountain to get to that huge hole. I have my phone with me, too. I honestly don't know why I brought it. Probably out of instinct. I have a bunch of music and anime downloaded on my phone so maybe I'll get to watch it with sans.

I finally see the hole and oh my god it was terrifying for someone who's scared and giant things. Fun.
