Groaning and sitting up with a wince, I rub my eyes grumbling about falling asleep on my desk...again. With a sigh I check my phone, seeing I have a new message I expect it to be Sans asking about me 'ignoring' him since I fell asleep but I'm surprised to see this instead.

When did this happen..? I wouldn't do that...well most of it...my cheeks burn in both embarrassment and frustration knowing who's behind this. "(Y/n.G)!!" I yell annoyed. She slowly creeps into my room. "Yeah...?" She warily asks knowing she's in trouble. "You know not to mess with my phone...how am I supposed to face anyone now...its so embarrassing..." I hide in my hands slumping onto my bed. She comes over patting my back. "It'll be fine...eheh..." She says unconvincingly as I deadpan at her. "Whatever...it'll be ok...I'll just...avoid people for the day...especially him...and you! Will be explaining what you did." Pointing at (Y/n.G) with a halfheated glare, I turn away digging for my oversized (F/c) hoodie. (Y/n.G) gives me a deflated sigh leaving as I get ready for class. Once ready we head to my car to head to the cafe before class. I'm in serious need of caffeine or sugar...maybe both since I didn't sleep well. But when parking outide the cafe and see a sign that sours my mood. 'No monsters allowed' is on the door, I quickly pull back into the lane and continue the drive to school. "Nope, I will not support a place that holds a prejudice against monsters!" I grumble. (Y/n.G) gasps in alarm. "That's what the sign said?? How rude of them...even if they had the best cookies it wouldn't make going there ever again worth it..." She frowns at the injustice of it all. I smile despite my mood at my friend pulling into the school parking lot. "Well...I'll see you later Bon-bon, and don't be late for class please?" Giving her a small smile and wave as I head to my digital art class. "Hey Mr. B, sorry for the disruption yesterday...it wont happen again." I say with a sheepish smile. "I know you were only protecting your friend, but I do hope it won't come to something like that again." Mr. Beverage smiles warmly, thankfully he seems to be a very forgiving professor. I nod sitting at the same spot as yesterday setting up my stuff and starting on some warm ups.

As I'm putting my stuff away thinking over my new assignment, to do a fan art illustration to show your skills (Y/n.G) pops into the class followed by Frisk and Papyrus. (Y/n.G) looks to Mr. Beverage in awe before turning to me and Papyrus saying. "How come you two didn't tell me your professor was hot??" She acuses as I deadpan while Papyrus gives a confused. "Nyeh?" Frisk tries hiding her giggles as I shake my head, heading out of class followed by the others muttering. "Sometimes I wonder how we are friends..." I turn to them to ask why they came to my class when Papyrus beats me to it. "Art human, we were wondering if you'd join us for lunch! A few of the others are busy today." Papyrus explains with excitment. "Its a place called Grillbys, a friend from the underground owns it." Frisk continues as (Y/n.G) is pleading me to come, with a sigh I ask. "Please tell me they have caffeine..." Frisk and Papyrus laugh as (Y/n.G) starts saying "Yes!" under her breath. Tho all three seem pretty excited I'm going. Frisk rides with me to give directions while Papyrus says he'll meet us there. Pulling up to a bar/resturaunt with a warm feel to it I smile thro my fatigue, nudging (Y/n.G) at the help wanted sign, she gives a long sigh in reply. When inside I immediately spot Papyrus and smile, freezing up when I spot Sans. Pulling up my hood I watch as Frisk and (Y/n.G) sit on one side of the curved booth as Papyrus ushers me to sit between him and Sans. Which I do while hiding in my hood which I grip tightly. I can feel Sans tense next to me as I will the flush on my cheeks to go down. I slump onto the table hiding my face in my arms. "Art human....are you ok..?" Papyrus asks me worried as he rubs my back. I raise my hand conting numbers of of it as I reply. "One I fell asleep on my desk...again and didn't sleep well, two I haven't had any caffeine today because I refuse to go to the cafe we used to go to and three..time to fess up Bon-bon regardless of the fact I'd probably have said it anyways...that is besides the point..." My voice trailing of as my cheeks start to burn yet again. "Umm...what do you mean buddy?" Sans asks wearily as they all look to (Y/n.G) who laughs nervously. "Well...umm...I sorta used her phone last night and sent you that last text Sans..." I imagine his eye sockets widening at what she just said. "Small human! You should know better then to mess with others things!" Papyrus scolds making me smile a bit. (Y/n.G) gives a defeated sigh apologizing for her snooping. Unburying my face from my arms but staying slumped, I narrow my eyes at her with a smirk. "Wanna know how you can really apologize (Y/n.G)?" I say mischeviously, the others look to me with raised eyebrows. "Pay your bloody tab! Stars..." I stick my tongue out at her as she just rolls her eyes at me. A soft raspy voice responds making me jump and turn to him. "That goes for you too Sans.." I turn to see a fire elemental monster in a vest and dress shirt, his glasses peering at us all. "Heya Grillbz." Sans greets the monster lazily. The fire monster just shakes his head asking for our order. "Umm...do you by chance have (F/c/d)..? And..Idk what you serve here..." I say sheepishly sitting up from the table. "Easy buddy, fries and burgers." Sans shrugs with an amused smile. I order some fries, everyone else orders fries or a burger, Sans got a side of ketchup as does (Y/n.G). Once I get my drink I savour it, sighing in bliss. The others look at me some hiding a snicker. "What...I havent had any caffeine today..." I mutter embarrassed. "So...how was class?" I say to break the silence as our food arrived. "Heh, ok. Me and Alph were working on the skematics for a suit for Blooky." Sans says with a relaxed shrug. Frisk and (Y/n.G) look at him in excitement and Papyrus has stars in his eyes. "Wow, that's so cool!" (Y/n.G) Says amazed as Frisk nods. "Wowie brother! Napstablook must be excited!" As much as I find it cool I'm also confused. Turning to Sans I ask. "Are you, the funny abd lazy skeleton in all advances science based classes or something?" I say both bewildered and amused as I nudge him. "Heh, maybe, what about you the skeleton loving artist, you in all art classes?" He teases back as I flush yet again. "Stop teasing about that.....and well...yes actually, I had digital art today tho it was kinda boring with no friends, plus I do it for a living so...doing a fanart to show my skills wont be too hard." I shrug half heartedly. "Can we see some of your art sometime? Papyrus says you're pretty good." frisk asks, I smile shaking my head and pulling out my phone. "I mean it's ok, but sure I guess. I have some on my phone." (Y/n.G) gives me a glare. "Says the Art scholarship student." She says sarcastically. "You're a scholarship student buddy?" Sans asks as I show them some artwork. "Yeah...but its not a big deal, I was just lucky." They seem impressed with some of it. "That's pretty good, I doubt it was luck starlight." Sans smiles as I flush looking away. The others seem to have caught the nickname all now having starry eyes making me feel concerned. "Y'all ok there..?" They try to calm down nodding at me. After we finish eating I grab Bon-bon by the arm to talk to the owner about the job. I leave her with grillby asking Papyrus if he could take her to next class finding out he's in the same class as her. Frisk says she'll see us tomorrow so I offer Sans a ride back to campus, he tells Grillby to put the bill on his tab earning a playful glare from me. Even if lunch with them lifted my spirits l'm still dreading my next class...Math.

Grillby has arrived!! We shall see more on him in a chapter or two. How exciting that will be! The next few chapters might be a bit longer so they might take longer to get out, hope y'all don't mind. And I've been thinking every now and then I should maybe switch up to pov to someone else in a chapter, maybe learn something from someone elses view asides our dear reader characters.
