He moved as quickly as the breeze, like a shadow; no one was able to sense his presence and those who were could only feel coldness. He was the embodiment of darkness.

He was on the hunt for the location where the betrayal was being held hostage. The atmosphere in the room entirely changed the moment he walked in.

"Surprise", he said with a devilish grin, startling everyone in the room, especially  the betrayer, who was speechless and had never expected this to happen.

"You really thought you could do this to me and get away with it?"

"What are you doing here, t-tae?", he said trembling in fear.

"It's sir to you.", he said sternly

"This wasn't  something I wanted to happen. I didn't want to cause you any harm. Please believe me."

"Harming? Me? You honestly don't know me at all, despite spending so many years by my side.", he laughs uncontrollably.

"Please, tae, n-no sir, don't do this to me. Let me explain everything." ,he said on the brink of tears.

"I'd like to spare your life, but I'm afraid I won't be able to do so. Since I don't want your filthy blood on my hands, someone else will have the pleasure of taking your pathetic life, which I would had gladly done myself."

After that, he left the room satisifed, his grin widening as he heard the gunshot.

He didn't have any regrets.

A day may come when Taehyung may lose but it's not today.
