She's a liar. We used to date. I broke up with her last week. It's a long story, I'll summarize it for you. About a month ago I fell in love with this girl named Erin. I asked her out, she said yes, and we dated for about a week. She didn't break up with me, don't make any assumptions just yet. It was evil Kelly Porter who ruined our relationship. Apparently, Erin told her that we were dating, but it wasn't a secret anyways. About a week after we started dating, my doorbell rang. It was Kelly. I didn't really know her too well back then, but I had seen her around school a couple times. She hung out with Erin a lot. Anyways, I invited her in and she said that she needed to talk to me, so we sat down on my bed. "Look," she started, "I know that this is going to be hard for you to process, but Erin is cheating on you." Those few words broke my heart. "What?" I said, shocked. "Erin? Cheating on me? Are you sure?" "Yeah," she responded, while starting to tear up, "I saw her kissing Hawksford in the theater after school." I couldn't believe what she was saying. I couldn't believe that Erin would do that, she seemed like such a nice girl. I was so emotional in the moment that I counldn't control what I was doing. My eyes met Kelly's. We both began to lean in and before I knew it, we were making out on my bed. The next day, I broke up with Erin. I didn't tell her why. I dated Kelly for a while. Two weeks later I saw Hawksford in the art room. "Hey Tristen," he said to me, but I just ignored him. "I just got back from my month long trip to Guatamala!" he continued anyways. I was about to walk away, but I paused. "Wait a second, did you just say a month?" "Yup," he relpyed, "Just got back last night." And then it hit me. If he just got back last night, he wouldn't have been there to kiss Erin in the theatre and Kelly had lied to me to get me to break up with Erin for her! Immediately after I figured it out, I confronted Kelly, broke up with her, and apoligized to Erin. Luckily, she understood that the reason I broke up with her was completely out of my control, and she said that she would have done the same thing. Even though I ended up getting back togehter with Erin, I lost a lot of time that we could have spent together because of Kelly. Thanks a lot Kelly Porter!
