"I will not lie, Miss Melli, I was surprised to receive your call." Sass was resting on a small, Kwami bed?, and Master Fu was brewing tea for Nasia and himself while Sass cleansed. "I am even more surprised how corrupted Sass is. I thought you would protect him, Medusa."
The crash of cups drew their attention to the blue haired girl in the door way. "You're Medusa?"
"Miss Πασχαλίτσα, I presume?" Nasia rolled her eyes at the confused looked she got from the two other humans in the room. "Miss Ladybug."
"How do you know who I am?" The Grecian saw the alarms going off in Marinette's head. "Are you here to take the Miraculous?"
In response, she help up her left wrist, the one with Sass's bangle on it. "I know who Chat Noir is, if I was going to take your little pets to my boss, I would've done it already." Marinette opened her mouth to ask another question, but Nasia interrupted her. "I'm here because Hawkmoth sent an Akuma to Sass. The dark and light intentions are messing with him." Nasia gestured to the room. "Who better to come to than the Guardian and Guardian-in-Training?"
"I believe," Master Fu stood in the line of the female's sight of each other, stopping the glaring the two sent to each other. "I believe that Nasia here is trustworthy, I did give her a Miraculous after all."
"Fine." Marinette muttered.
At this point, Nasia stood up. "Look, Buggie, I don't like you. I don't like that kitten you lead on. I don't trust people that have the support of the government no matter what they do. But I will not sign the death warrant for you or the citizens that the two of you protect. Don't do a stupid mistake, and I will continue to 'fail' to capture you. Deal?" She extended her arm as Fu stepped sideways, waiting for Marinette's reaction.
She nodded and joined hands with Nasia. "Deal. I'll let Chat know next akuma attack."
"You won't have to. Medusa will pay him a visit." Nasia looked to Sass. "Do you mind cleansing him?"
Marinette nodded. "Spots on!" After a huge fancy light show and some nice tricks with that yo-yo of hers, Sass was back to normal. "Keep him safe." Marinette said right as Nasia was about to walk out. "Chat, I mean. He doesn't know it, but, heh, I love that stupid cat." Nasia nodded.
"Yeah, I will." She nodded goodbyes to the two and walked down. "Σκατά, Sass what am I going to do?" The kwami nibbled on a piece of ham while sitting on Nasia's shoulder. "I need to protect Adrien, but" she groaned, "I can't trust Chat Noir and Ladybug. I just can't!"
"You are view Chat Noir and Adrien as two different people. What if you tried viewing them as one." Sass recommended. "If Adrien was going to fight bad guys and keep people safe, would you support him? Or would you try to hinder him?"
Nasia nodded. "Yeah, I suppose." Shaking her head, she changed the subject. "You said that the ancient powers were strong in the Agreste Mansion, does Adrien's kwami give off that much energy?
Sass stroked his little nonexistent beard. "Plagg is a powerful kwami, but no, there would have to be another Miraculous in that house. Maybe even 2!"
"Wonderful! Just what I need. A mentor that is acting more like a slave driver, a boss that wants be to destroy the almost destroyed life of a kid, who is like my little brother, but that kid's alter ego is someone that I loathe! I have a talking snake on my shoulder, magic powers that let me fight guys three times my size," Her phone began to ring. "And my loving and amazing boyfriend is calling. What did I do to deserve this?" Her thumb pressed the green button and immediately a smile was on her face. "Hey, hon, how are you?"
Sass shook his head and flew down to his little pocket. He had to agree with her on that point. So much pulling and twisting. Then again, Fu has given Miraculous to worse people.
