The night Anissa leaves for Europe her dad drives her to the airport. Her flight leaves at midnight so she will land at about noon London time. Time differences and all.
Early that night Tommy had wanted to face time and Anissa had made up a lame excuse about "being tired." He definitely did not buy it but he let her go, not wanting to annoy her. Little did he know that the next day he would be able to physically see her, much sooner than he ever thought.
Anissa arrives at the airport at about ten-thirty that night. She hugs her dad tightly and says her goodbyes. She promises him once again to keep in touch before she leaves. She gets through security pretty quickly and heads to her gate to wait.

With the 45 minutes left Anissa decides to do some of her schoolwork so she could completely focus on her friends during the trip. This proved to be a good idea because time passes quickly. Soon Anissa's flight is called and she packs up her stuff and boards the plan. She settles into a window seat and because of Covid she gets the whole row to herself.
The stars twinkle in the dark sky as the plane takes off for the seven hour flight. Anissa soon falls asleep and stays that way for the majority of the flight. She wakes up with a jolt as the plane lands in her hometown of London. She smiles knowing that in just a few minutes she will be seeing Tubbo and in about an hour or so she would be meeting Tommy.
When the people are let off the plane Anissa shoves her away into the front of the group and ends up being one of the first off. She follows the directions overhead to find the baggage claim. All though she had been in the airport before it had been years. She reached the area and knows that Tubbo and his family must be somewhere nearby. Her dark eyes scan the small crowds quickly. She finally locks eyes with her best friend and both of their faces light up into huge smiles as they race towards each other. Anissa grabs Tubbo and pulls him into a tight hug, ignoring the strangers stares around them.
"Toby! I miss you so much," she says excitedly pulling away from the hug.
"It's been forever, literally way to long," Tubbo says. Anissa is pulled into another hug by Tubbo's mother briefly. Anissa smiles at her and Tubbo's sisters who had tagged along to the airport. They all chat for just a moment, just exchanging hellos. Anissa then grabs Tubbo and drags him over to where her bag is arriving from the plane. She grabs it quickly and rolls it out of the airport with the family. They all pile into a car and head to their house.
When they arrive Anissa grabs her bag from the back of the car with the help of Tubbo's father. The two sixteen year olds go inside and Tubbo leads Anissa to his room.
"So Tommy is going to be here at about one-thirty so like a forty-five minutes," Tubbo says.
"Very cool," Anissa says, taking a seat on the corner of Tubbo's bed. "It's been hard keeping this a secret because see you and everyone has all I've been thinking about ."
"Yeah same," Tubbo says, "Are you nervous at all about meeting everyone?"
"Very," Anissa says quickly, "voices and face times just aren't the same as being in person. I'm scared they're all going to hate me, if I'm being honest."
Tubbo eyebrows are creased with slight worry. "They'll love you Anissa. How could they not? Calling someone isn't so different from being in person I promise. After all we've only talked on the phone for almost three years and I still love you."
"I love you too Tubbo," she says pulling him in into another hug. He smiles and rubs his hand against her back for a moment. When they break apart Tubbo checks his phone to see a text from Tommy.
"Tommy's 20 minutes away, so here's the plan. When he gets here I'm going to go outside and you should wait inside for when I bring him in. I really think it would be cool for you to completely surprise him." Anissa nods in agreement.
"Just bring him instead and I'll just like pretend like I'm doing something else and see how long it's takes for him to notice me." The both laugh and head down stairs. Anissa joins Tubbo's sister, Lani in the kitchen and sits down next to her. The two start watching something on the younger girls phone. Pretty soon Anissa hears a car pull up outside. She try's her best to not focus on anything but Lani as Tubbo runs outside. She hears Tommy's familiar voice talking a mile a minute as he says hello to Tubbo. Both voices get louder as the door opens and they come inside. Anissa fights the urge to jump up and go say hello as well. It feels like such a long time before Tommy notices her.
When Tommy had first come inside he was fully focused on Tubbo. He wasn't expecting to see anyone but the smaller boys family so he wasn't paying much attention to the blonde haired girl sitting in the kitchen. It's only when she turns around the boy notices her.
