Chapter 12: "No..It can't be!"

Draco's P.O.V

"Now that's something I have to get used to" Harry said chuckling. I quickly got unwrapped from the blanket and layed in bed like nothing happened. "You saw nothing you git!" I said turning pink of embarrassment, "Don't worry my kitty-" but before he got to finish, I turned into a human cat. When I opened my eyes Harry looked like he would die of cuteness. When I went to talk when something sharp poked my lip, "Ow!" I said trying to look at my lip. Just then I say my button nose, then I saw my tail, then I felt the top of my head and I realized... "I'm a cute cat!?" I said getting up and running to the bathroom to look in the mirror. Just as I suspected, I was a cute little cat..  I didn't realize Harry came up behind me so when I did, he already had his hands on my waist, which BY THE WAY, was round as HECK. "You look pretty cute huh?" Harry said slyly as he moved one of his hands to my crotch and the other hand to pet me. "No touching me!" I said squirming out of Harry's grip. When I did this I ended up backing up into the bathtub and falling into it, "Eep!" I said closing my eyes tight preparing for the fall. "Gotcha" Harry said pulling me close to him, I opened my eyes just to be met with dark green eyes. I blushed and looked down at my shoes, although that soon turned into a b- I was snapped out my thoughts when Harry kissed me passionately. I turn back into a human and fell onto Harry deepening the kiss. I could tell he chuckled during the kiss, or at least would have.

It was around midnight  and me and Harry finally went to bed. "Harry?" I said curling into him, "Yeah?" Harry replied and pulled me closer to him spooning me. "Well, I don't really know, guess I just wanted to say your name?" We both laughed and I saw that Harry was very sleepy so I put my head on his shoulder and waited for a what seemed like forever to fall asleep. As soon as I went to fall asleep though, the door bursted open. It was Blaise, Ron, Hermione and Pansy... "PANSY?" I said basically yelling it. Harry was now awake and I felt kind of bad for waking him up. "They- they're - they-" Ron said trying to talk, "They- they- together!" Blaise said, "Huh?" I said getting confused. "HERMIONE AND PANSY ARE DATING!" Blaise and Ron said at the same time. Me and Harry froze right their and then, "Hermione... You do know that-" Harry said in a serious tone and putting me behind him. "Yes, yes I do know what happened but... I love her..." Harry froze and I had a flashback of what happened.

Flashback:

It was the end of the day and I rushed threw the halls with Crabbe and Goyle. "What's the rush Draco?" Crabbe said trying to catch up with me. "None of your business!" I said trying to hide my excitement. I got to the school gates and almost fell. There I saw what I thought would never happen. Harry was pinned against the wall by- his new boyfriend. It kills me to say it, I was so caught up in the moment I didn't realize I was crying, "Draco? Draco what's wrong?" I heard Blaise say coming up next to me, "Did-" he said, but then he saw Harry, who was now done kissing whoever that was, but when he turned around, it turns out that it was a girl. "P-pansy!?" I shouted before slowly going backwards. Harry ran to me and said "Wait!" "Let me explain!" He was about to say something before Blaise grabbed him and held him back. NO! I said running to the dorms.

                 Flash back over

"DRACO!" I heard Harry yell. "P-pansy, kissed y-y-you..." I said now crying in Harry's arms. "Hermione, we'll talk tomorrow, for now though, everyone leave and go to bed. It's late"  Harry said in a rough voice. I started crying more and getting comfortable with his warmth. When he went to set me on the bed I grabbed his shirt and pulled myself closer to him so he'd get it that I didn't want to leave, "Don't worry babes. I'm just going to set you on the bed so I can lay down and we can cuddle." Harry said in a baby voice. " O-ok.." I said sniffling. Harry set me on the bed and was doing exactly what he said he was going to do, "I love ya Dray Dray" Harry said cuddling up with me.

I woke up and felt cold, all around me. I jumped up and looked around for Harry, in return I found a note labelled: Draco. I picked it up and read it:

       Dear Draco,
Before you worry, or before you worry more, I'm alright! Just talking to Hermione about- well, stuff. But you just get dressed and I will be back soon.
                                            Love,
                                                 Harry.

Well, that makes me feel a lot better. I said getting out of bed to get dressed. I wore what I normally wear and waited on the bed for Harry.

About 15 minutes later Harry walked in with a smirk on his face. "Scarhead!" I said getting up and off the bed and running to him. "Looks like someone's excited to see me" Harry said smirking even more."  Well, why wouldn't I be?" I said as I finally let go of him. He chuckled and I blushed slightly as I smiled. "You know, you used to be taller then me, what happened?" Harry said now looking down at me as I looked up. "Oh shut up!" I said standing on my tippy toes so I could be as tall as him even though he was still taller than me. We both laughed and went and sat on the bed. "Your an idiot." I said sitting in Harry's lap and curling in a ball, "My idiot" I said now kissing Harry's cheek. "That's right kitty" Harry said slyly. That's when I felt my tail and ears appear, and of course my teeth. I felt Harry pet me and I purred. It scared me for some reason so I scratched Harry on accident. "I'm sorry Harry!" I said curling back up into a ball and purring. "It's ok kitten, just relax, I'll be fine"  Harry said petting me, and this time I was still kinda scared of my purring but I was now used to it a little more. "Love ya scarhead" I said looking up at Harry.
"And I love ya to kitty" Harry said looking down at me.

It was the end of my nap and I heard sighs coming from the edge of the bed. "H-harry?" I said still sleepy. "What's wrong?" I said now a little more awake now. " Draco I-" Harry said. "Let's just go to the infirmary, then you'll know why I'm like this" Harry said finishing his sentence. I quickly remembered about my mum and got up and out of bed and got dressed. I opened the door as soon as I finished getting dressed, then I ran threw that halls to the infirmary. "Draco! Wait!" I heard Harry yell behind me, but I didn't stop, I kept running and running till I reached the infirmary. When I arrived I saw a bed with some Slytherins surrounding it, along with Madam Pampfrey. "Mum!?" I said running to the bed. I don't think I'll ever forget what I say... Or heard. As I looked over Harry came in and ran to me, my mom was pale as snow and Madam Pampfrey said " I'm sorry Mr. Malfoy, but, she's dead. Dead, it repeated in my head over and over again.

"Dead" I said it out loud this time. "DEAD" I yelled it this time. I didn't realize I was crying until Harry wiped the tears of my face. "No.." "No..it can't be! I said.
