Relationship In Braces

Embracing the brace

I woke up. The Vamps  ,my favorite  band's  music literally  blasting in my ear buds .  Wake up , their new song off their new album  Wake up,was playing. Dennna  nenne  denna  neeene . Love that instrumental part. I attempted  to  get up out of my bed. I was trying  to  get up which I have a feeling  that  I  look like a turtle struggling  to get up off its shell . My annoying  stupid back brace  I can't really move  in it. It's used to  make sure  that  my condition  doesn't get worse. I have moderate  to  severe  scoliosis  in  my ribcage  and hips .  I'm pretty  deformed  looking.  Scoliosis  is a bone deformity ,  the spine curves in an 's' or   '  c'   or it kinda  looks like both to me. The left side  of  my  ribs  looks popped out  its thicker through  and longer than  the  other  side .  It creates  a  'rib hump'. My hips  are tipped  on an odd angle .  I'm very clumsy  because  of it too. Everyone  says the Vamps  bassist , Connor  Ball  is so clumsy , ha I put him to shame.  I really  like Connor . If you know  the Vamps , you'd know the brown haired one  with blue  eyes  and and earring  and  nose ring  has a leg brace and he walks with forearm  crutches .   He's also disabled .  I've always watched their tour vlogs .  Connor  fixing  his leg brace to go out on stage. I get how annoying  the whole stupid  thing  is. I hate my brace and yet Connor  calls his leg a robot leg. Unfortunately  even though  his brace bends around his knee , I can't really bend as it is so add this horrible  brace that's so restructuring . I finally  got up. I got around. It's a nice May morning.  I'd get too warm in a sweater later so I decided  to go with the  thinnest red and black plad shirt  I have and a pair of skinny blue ripped jeans and unfortunately  if you can see the brace underneath  my clothes what's the  difference? I decided  to  wear my white tank  top  that has 3 surfboards  on it and says west is best. Well nobody  will see what it says. I also break out  from my brace it adds a lot of  heat and I have very sensitive  skin so yea.

I  showered got dressed . I had breakfast  and then I packed my backpack .  I  need my inhaler , and of course  my deodorant  and stuff like that since I'm going to be out on the go. My friend Jake and I are going  to  the Vamps  concert  and we're going  to  the mall after, in the city of  Crystal  Rock which is about 45 minutes  away  by car . Are small little  town of  RainbowFalls  is going to  be missing  two people  for the day. Jakes picking me up. I met him outside  of my apartment . We drove  off me blasting the Vamps  song  Somebody  to  you ,  it's the one that brought us together  with  our love for the Vamps . Jake has the biggest  crush ever on James . Of course  he does what's not to like in James ? Overall  he seems like a great  guy. We were both screeching  to every song. Then last night  came on. "Connor's solo ?" "  Yea  " I said . I knew  what  that meant .  Jake  wanted me  to  sing the  parts Connor  sings . So we  decided  to  head intothe  k7R  center . It took awhile  until we were in  the  arena  we'd go to  the  mall straight away from  the  concert.  We were to just gather where ever. So Jake  picked me up onto his back. Jake ran so we could get as close  as we possibly  can  to the stage .  We were  less than  6 feet away from  the  stage , on the right side . "I  want  you  to  get  as close  to  Connor  as you possibly  can  "  Jake said. “  Okay , but will you  be  able  to  see  James , Jake ?" I  asked  him .  "  FUCK  YEA !  " .  “  So far  everyone  in front  of  us is taller  than  you ,  let me know if  you  can't see the  Vamps ". “  I   mostly  certainly  will  ".  We got  talking  about  the  Vamps . “  So I wonder if  James  wants a  boyfriend  ?"  "  I think  he already  has  Tristan  that's probably  the  same  thing ". “  And Bronnor  is so real I ship Trames  and Bronnor  so hard, harder than  the  Tradley  and  Jonnor  shippers ".   “  Yep you know  it" . After a  while  the into played Tris came  out  from  back stage  to  his  drums . 

He did his amazing  solo then Brad and  James  and  Connor  came  out . I couldn't  see  much .  Everyone's  so much  taller  than  me. "I can't really  see  just their hair " I said  to Jake. “  Hold still  ". He lifted  me up onto his shoulders .  They were playing  Rest Your  Love 

Off and on  Connor would come back  to  his side of  the  stage  and he'd look at   Jake and  I .  Mostly  me. Which  I know it's werid but maybe  it's because  I'm  disabled  physically  and  I  stand out with this ugly  brace. Remind me  why, "you gotta  embrace  the  brace" is what Connor  says. That's pretty  hard to do.   That's really embracing the  brace if you  ask me .  Connor  threw his pic and I cought it! Without  even  trying  and some of  the  other  girls  weren't happy . He just kinda shrugged after  a bit.
