[ The Order  ]

The agent took a breath before entering the home of the sleeping girl.

She looked so peaceful, so calm. The redhead didn't want to be the one to do this. Why did he have to be the one to do this? Kirishima knew the answer yet, he still questioned himself every day.

He didn't exactly choose his role, it was just fate. Once a soul agent takes the soul of someone, the soul gets transferred into the body of a newborn child.  The child then grows up to work in the soul agency. No mother, No father.

That was Kirishima's fate. He wasn't chosen or anything like that.

You do what the boss tells you to. If you disobey, you get your memory wiped and you are no longer allowed into the agency. All your memories of the agency, and yourself, are gone. Forever. You will be in the human world, the cruel human world, Alone. The only thing you know how to do is breathe.

Kirishima stared at the sleeping teen. She didn't look in pain. Research on humans says that when the human is asleep, is when the human is most peaceful. That's why Agents wait until the nighttime.  What was going on in this girl's life that she felt the need to be dead? Taken. Gone.

Was human life all that hard? Why don't they ask for help? Do they try to take their own lives to escape? But Why? Kirishima didn't know the answer. No agent did. They didn't need to, it wasn't their job.

The redhead walked up to the girl's bed. He silenced his footsteps so the girl could not hear him. He brought his hands up and gently placed them on her stomach, careful not to wake her up. He then began to pull out her soul, slowly so it wouldn't hurt her.

Once her soul was out, he placed it into a blue-lit jar. This is where they stored the awaiting souls.

Closing the lid tight, he placed it into his messager bag that hung on his shoulder.

He took one more glance at the lifeless body before flying out of the window. It wasn't their job to take care of the corpse. It was anyone else's job but theirs.

Kirishima gluided through the cold dark blue sky, the feeling of cold wind hit his face, wings spread fully. Once you learn the process of taking souls, you earn your wings.

It's not that easy though, you have to be put through lots of tests. Then even after all of that, you have to take an oath. But that's not all either. You have to be at your remainage. This is the age that Agents stop aging at.

For Kirishima, he stopped aging at the age of 18. Some agents like Agent Eri, stop aging at the age of 6.

Agents were also like humans, well they at least looked like humans. They had a face, a nose, ears a mouth. Two legs, two arms, and such. They even had hair. The only differences were their wings and abilities and imortal souls.

Kirishima landed on the roof of the portal gate that led to the underground agency. The building of the agency was located deep underground. About 1.4 million feet away from the Earth's core. The only way to get in was to contact someone from the inside.

The teen pulled out a device. It was an all-black rectangular device that only agents used. It had two big speakers and was small enough to fit into your pocket. He held the speaker up to his mouth.

"This is Agent Ejirou Kirishima I-"

"Kiri! Your back!" the voice on the other side of the speaker spoke. "I'm letting you in".

A few moments later, the roof was opened. Kirishima stepped into the purple portal that led underground. Not long after, he has transferred to the agency. The portal closed behind him.

In the building, there were hundreds, no thousands of other agents that looked like Kirishima. They all had different features of course, but they all had the abilities and wings Kirishima had. They were all different ages and sizes

The building was huge, it was about 30 stories high and 80 stories wide. Each floor had a purpose. There was a floor for soul jars, a floor for food and vitamins, even a floor for the sick or injured. One floor was where the agents slept during the day.

Soul agents only took souls at night, so during the daytime, they got their rest before nighttime started. Same for the agents on the other side of the world. Agents would sleep in sleeping cubes that were perfectly aligned in rows and columns. Each cube could fit about four agents, only because some agents liked to go in each other's cubes to talk. Like Kirishima's friends, Kaminari, Mina, and Sero.

For as long as he could remember, Kirishima has always been friends with these three. They got along very well and were always there for each other.

Kaminari had stopped aging at the age of 16. He had blonde/yellow hair, He had recently dyed a yellow lighting streak into it to show he was one of the fastest agents to finish their missions. Like very fast. The blonde was a little on the short side, but he was taller than Mina at least. He was full of a lot of energy and you would barely see him resting, he always has to move.

Mina was a very beautiful young lady. She stopped aging recently at the age of 19. She had bubble pink hair and all-black eyes. Her skin was also pink, just a darker shade. Mina was just so chill and nice. She often taught Kirishima things he's never heard of which was sometimes helpful. She gets most of her information from human magazines, She usually sneaks them from the nightstands or floors of the souls she takes.

Then there was Sero. He stopped aging a few years ago at the age of 21. He was about 6'7 and had long black silk hair. Sometimes, Kirishima and his friends felt he cared more about his hair than about them. He's been growing it out since he was 12, so it's pretty long about 48 inches.

Kirishima headed towards an elevator that led to the higher floors. He pressed '5' he was going to the mission ward floor.

The mission ward was where agents went to receive their orders or missions from the boss. Agents who usually worked at the Mission ward were ones who didn't get any orders from the boss yet, or they are in the middle of healing so they can't go out.

Kirishima walked up to a clear stand. Behind it was an older lady who looked the age of 35. She clicked a few times on her computer before lifting her head up to face Kirishima. "Name?" she asked.

"Eijirou Kirishima."

She nodded, "Boss has a new order for the night".     "Do you want the file on the boy's info?"

"Yes, please."

The lady clicked on her computer a few times before a piece of paper started printing out. She grabbed it and handed it to Kirishima. He read it, the gender was a boy. He was 17 years old. He had recently tried taking his life by jumping off a bridge onto a moving highway.

"May I have the name?"

The lady gave a questioning look before nodding. The name of the humans was only told to the agents if they wanted to know. Most agents didn't want to learn the names so it would be easier to part and take the soul. But not Kirishima. Knowing the name was somehow special to Kiri. He didn't know why but it just felt right to know.

"The boys name is Katsuki Bakugou"

Kirishima nodded before walking out of the ward. He went down to the first floor where he opened the purple portal. He headed out for his mission.
