As Octo sat in her room, she was tired and lazy from just sitting down the whole day. The 20th game play of Danganronpa in just a week was really tiring her out; she didn't hate it, no, but after a while, it does get exhausting watching multiple class trials and hearing repeated lines.

"No, that's wrong!"

Sigh.

And then the other thought she dreaded to ponder. "Clean your room." She knew her mom would be coming at any second to yell and inform her about it. It never stopped. It wasn't like she didn't know or remember to tidy up her space, regardless of her mom's belief that coming back repeatedly would help, but the fact she just... Didn't want to clean. Like, really.

Octo just lay to her left side, the faint light of the window coming into view. It'd been a few hours since moving from her position of the right side to her bed, so he was happy to get a new view after so long. But the light was really killing her eyes. Though, she was too lazy to get up and walk a few steps to close the shades. Life has really become a bitch.

Thanksgiving break meant that her birthday was coming soon. Yeah, a near birthday and having 10 days off of school... It seemed like heaven. But after 3 days of being lazy, it became just sitting down the whole day and being bored. Tomorrow would be the day before her birthday, she had to be excited!

The only thing this week that made her happy was being on that chatting app of hers. Discord.

Well, she only had a few friends on there, so she didn't expect any of them to really be online. But there was still some hope she would get to talk to people for the first time today; and sadly, no, not with her voice. Just typing. What a depressing story. She was sure by the end of today, her vocalization would be totally out.

"Discordo!"

She jumped. That whole thing just sorta still creeped her out. It was like an anime girl saying Discord just for the sake of haunting her.

But soon after the thought, the loading screen faded away, and her chat rooms and servers came into view. She clicked on her friends list to see who was online.

It seemed that almost all her friends were online, to her surprise. Out of 20, maybe that wouldn't seem like a huge accomplishment, but honestly, a lot of her friends weren't active; maybe they could all just talk at some point today?

But her day was pretty bad. It felt like everything was just lazy, plus her head just hurt from laying down 24/7. And she was 99.9% sure she was sleep deprived from staying up on her phone reading fan fiction- it was hard to believe she would even last that long today.

Octo typed slowly on her computer, her hands feeling paralyzed from not moving them since... Maybe last morning? The night two days ago? She didn't even know the date at this point. She-

"No, that's wrong!"

She forgot she still left that 4th trial tab open.

Anyways, that's besides the point. She typed in her awesome group chat filled with awesome people... More like 2 other awesome people, rather than multiple, but...

Octo: hi guys

Salty: hi...

Salty: friend...

Tilly: hey wanna see this tiktok i found

Octo: why is it animal crossing cosplays

Tilly: funnee

Salty: HAHAHAHAH

Octo felt herself crack a smile, which felt rare today, though she couldn't help but still feel rather disgusting... In the sense of practically being a depressed sloth. It really sucked being cooped in like this.
