My sister just so happens to love Youngtaek to death. She was talking to me about how gorgeous his eyes were the other day and I realized that I had a Youngtaek imagine about it in my notes.
So, enjoy this Youngtaek fanfic as it might not be the best because this was a while ago.
I doubt my edits helped this, but I guess it's....okay?
Enjoy it!

"A hypnotist??"
"Yeah! That sounds like fun! I read it on the brochure of the fair. It's a new attraction and I really wanna try it!!"
"Rena...I've seen a hypnotist before. Let's just say it didn't end prettily. I honestly don't trust those people."
"Sunhee, not every hypnotist you've seen are the same person. I read some information about it. It says he's the best in town."
"Whatever...I feel queasy about this."
"Sunhee!"
"Rena...no-"
"Please! We never have fun like this anymore. We didn't even go to the fair last year."
"Rena, does it matter? We're going to the fair. I'm just not gonna try that, and that's final."
"Can I...change your mind?"
"Huh??"

Rena gives a sly and knowing smirk as she inches towards me.
"Son Youngtaek?" She whispers in my ear.
"What..?" I sounded breathless when responding to the lovely name. God, no matter what Youngtaek did, I could only fall harder for him.
His name just being mentioned shot a dart through my heart and it hurt, and Rena knew that.
She watched my face not even surprised at how hot and red I must've felt and looked.

Fair day...

Today's the fair, something I really haven't been excited about.
But, I can't deny I was partly hopeful for the day, since we didn't go last year.
I just wished that going to the fair because Youngtaek was going to be there would be worth it.
I still can't believe Rena was able to convince me by using my crush against me.
Being a sucker for love is such a downfall, sometimes.
I feel so vulnerable and easy, and I'm aware of that.
Why can't my self-awareness be big enough to stop myself?

"Sunhee! We gotta be early if we wanna get our tickets in! Jangjun is already in the car!"
"Tell your brother to wait. I'm still considering this.."
"What?? Why? This is the fair! There's nothing to consider except for those corn dogs." Rena snickers.
"This is funny to you when you're not the one going to see your crush at the fair."
"Ah, so you're nervous? Girl, the fair is football stadium huge. There's no way you're gonna cross paths with all those crowds."
"Who knows? I have to be prepared for the worst."

I watch myself in the mirror. I look....so decent.
"Who cares with what you look like. Now, hurry up and get downstairs!" She jumped out of the corner and gripped my arm, racing me to the car.
"Was someone looking in the mirror again?"
"Jangjun, she's in her teens. She feels insecure. Let her be."
"For who? Youngtaek?? Him? He's so weird and I'm friends with him."
"I know right. Why him out of all people?"

I nudge her arm, agitated.
"You were just telling him to let me be, and now you're judging me! What a friend you are."
"I was joking! I support you and your feelings! Why else would I tell you that Youngtaek would be there?"
"Rena, I ha-"
"Alright, ladies I too want to get to the fair. Strap up and shut up."

We arrived at the fair.
Wow, it's loaded.
Now, I understand why Rena wanted to be early.
We couldn't even find parking spots.

"Great! I knew this would happen! No matter how early we are, there always seems to be some delay." She shoots her head towards me and squints her eyes.
"Rena, it's bound to happen. It's fine. We'll just park to the side." I reassure her, but she crosses her arms and gives me sass.
"Sunhee. There's a reason why I dragged you. We're here now but half of our day will be wasted because of these god damn lines! Look how long they are!"

She pointed towards the crowds of people lined up against the wall.
We observed the crowds in awe. It was so crammed.
"UGH. The summer's ruined," she brings her palms to her face and exhales in frustration.
"Rena, let's just go, then. Who cares if we don't spend the whole day."
"Sunhee's right, brat. Shit, we're wasting time right now cause you keep on whining."
