Merry Christmas

                                                                                            CHAPTER 1

Marie P.O.V

I'm walking down the stairs. It's Christmas morning and I'm so happy to spend this with the family even if they are a little crazy.

"Marie get your ass down here!Its time to open presents, while your dad is here." hollers Mom, while Alex walks by the stairs and flips me off smiling,"Merry Christmas Ass hat!"

She laughs as my dad tells her, "Watch your mouth! You're too pretty to cuss!" He messes up her hair, picks me up off the stairs, spinning me.

"Merry Christmas, Nikki!" I roll my eyes and smile, messing up his hair. Alex high fives me and runs away.

"Dad, that's my middle name, why don't you use my first name?" Laughing as he throws me in my mom's arms and shakes his head. "So you think you're in trouble, silly." Then he runs to get Alex .

"Merry Christmas Mom!" I smile and get up. My dog runs up and jumps on me. "Merry Christmas to you too, baby." He licks my face and wags his tail.

"Love u too, Duke!" He moved his paw to my shoulder and danced with me before knocking me over and on to Alex, sitting on the floor.

"Sorry, it was Duke..." She rolls her eyes and calls "Duke, get over here and tell your girl it's not your fault it's hers. You're too cute for it to have been you." He lays down on us and falls asleep as we open presents with our mom and dad.

Kenny's P.O.V

I walk up the stairs and see my sister already up and sitting by the tree. I grin at her and motion my head to our parents room. A grin forms on her face, and she nods fiercely.

"Shhh, don't make a noise," I whisper to her as we tip toe to their room. I pick her up and she laughs quietly as I get ready to throw her on mom and dad. "Ready?" I quickly whisper. She nods and smiles. I throw her on top of them but she looks confused. I walk over and there is no one there. We look around confused. Our mom and dad run out and surprise us, throwing a blanket over us and grabbing us. M screams and laughs trying to get out of their hold.

We all walk downstairs and dad makes us food.I love food! The dogs run over and begs for food from us. I smile and sneak a piece of bacon to them. After breakfast we race to sit by the tree and open presents. Same warm Christmas as always. What could go wrong?

Marie P.O.V

After we opened presents my mom and dad went back to their god and goddess jobs. Oh, I forgot to mention that I'm a goddess, and my sister is, too. We are the goddesses of the moon. We also help the kingdom of the Moon.

I look at Duke and fix his hat over his ears. He shakes it off again and lays on top of me to lick my face.

As I walk up to my room the alarm for the king and queen goes off. Oh no! That means I have to go with Mom and Dad . Alex already took her turn helping them and today will be my first time going as the New Moon goddess. I can't wait to hang out with M and Kenny. I love babysitting her. Plus it's kinda fun being around the young Prince .

Even if I like him, I know we won't be a thing. I mean he has to marry a princess anyway, not to mention the fact I am to marry a god. They are so full of themselves though. I mean he is a prince. Yet has told me he finds it as more of a curse, because he wants to marry some goddess he met when he was young. He has never told me her name or what she looks like. But he did tell me I'll find out soon enough.

Kenny's P.O.V

As soon as I got to my room downstairs I heard my dad sound the alarm. This made me happy, because last time I talked to Marie she told me then next time they came down she would be here and have to stick with me and M. My sister really likes Marie; she used to babysit her before she started her goddess training. So now I watch her in between prince training and getting yelled at for not wanting to marry a princess, I told my parents from a young age that I wanted to marry a goddess. Little did they know I mean her.

I still haven't told her how I feel. I'm just a little worried she will want to follow the rules of her parents and marry a god. Today feels like a good day to tell her. I mean it's Christmas... The only person who knows isn't even a person, it's her dog, Duke. She named him Duke because he isn't a prince but he is like royalty to her. She has always liked being a goddess-in-waiting. When her father summoned her the star and she was crowned a moon goddess, she didn't seem too happy. I was happy thought that meant she had to stay at my kingdom and she would always be there with us.

I will never forget the look she gave me when I was crowned prince. She was both happy and sad.When i asked her about it she just said she would miss spending time with me because I was her best friend.I forced myself to smile I had hoped she found me as more than a friend I guess she didn't. Wonder how she feels now...

Marie's P.O.V

As we make our way to the castle I smile to myself. There is no danger, which means they probably want us there for a meeting. That means that Kenny and I will get to leave after they start talking...unless it has something to do with us. I didn't realize how much I missed him . I haven't seen him since he was crowned prince, three weeks ago. It was the same day I was crowned as a moon goddess.

This means that I will be stuck here and watch him marry some stupid princess. He seemed so happy when he saw the moon appear above my head from the star that crowned me the moon goddess. How could he be so happy? I mean I always knew he didn't like me the same. I want to believe I have a chance.

Kenny's P.O.V

I make my way into the meeting room and smile as I see my moon goddess, well she's not mine yet. As soon as M sees her she runs and jumps. Marie turns just in time to catch her but she trips over her foot and falls on top of me. She looks shocked and sorry, it hurts to see her get up so quick but I get up and give her a smile so she knows I'm okay. "Hey princey." she says with a sparkle in her eyes. I hug her and she just stands there trying to decide if she should hug back or move, she picks hug back.

 "Hey , how have u been my- I mean Marie! " I blush knowing I'm already redder then a tomato. She smiles that smile that makes my heart skip a beat. "I've been fine, how about you Kenny?" She looks into my eyes and for just a second i see sadness go through her's. "I'm great, now stop lying to me whats wrong moon?" I give her the best face I can and grab her arm leading her to that kitchen. No one can say no to food, definitely not my moon goddess.

  "Kenny , we need to talk." She says with a shaky voice. I walk around the table and put my arm around her and make her look me in the eyes. I know its her weakness. It's the only thing that makes her say everything she wants without thinking first. "Whats up my moon?" She blushes causing me to smile at how beautiful she truly is. 

 Marie's P.O.V

 He stares into my eyes "Whats up my moon?" I feel myself turning red, why does he have to do that? He smiles at me , his eyes go all over my face like he is memorizing it as though this is the last time he'll ever see me. "Kenny we have been friends since we were young and it has come to my attention that I might be catching feelings for you, that friends shouldn't feel for eacho..." I am stopped by his lips crashing on to mine. Sparks light up my whole body, why does this feel so right...

After we pull away he smiles at me and touches my lip with his index finger, like he's tracing it. I look up at him and smile shyly. "Marie, I feel the same." He pulls me closer to him again, but instead of kissing me he lays his head on mine staring into my eyes. I hat how he sees right through me like this. "What are you doing to me mister princey." I laugh shyly at him as he continues to stare into my eyes.

Me, Kenny, and M are all sitting on the couch watching a movie when M gets up and just leaves out of no where. I look at Kenny confused. "Is she okay? She just left..." I ask concerned. He nods "She is going out with her friends so she went to go get ready before dad takes her there." He moves closer to me and puts an arm around my shoulder. I lay my head on his shoulder and smile up at him. "Merry Christmas Kenny." I mumble falling asleep. He kisses the top of my head, " Merry Christmas my moon." That's the last words I hear before falling into a deep sleep.
